Hey , is there a love triangle between ML-FL-SML ? will SML touch FL or they spend lots of time together ? or…
There’s a bit of a triangle, yes, as the oblivious, slow-witted FL thinks she and the SML are “just friends.” She makes the ML feel insecure because of that friendship.
Here because the ML, Wang Zu Yi, got me obsessed and mesmerized in “Extremely Perilous Love.” His face is so striking and interesting-looking. And his acting is fire! Excited to see him in a modern setting romance. I also liked the beautiful FL when she was a flight attendant in Seven Tan’s drama about being airline pilot. Hope this young actress, Shao Yu Qi, has much success. I like her acting.
Update—Finished this in one day. Very good. Good acting instead of the cringe soapy acting you usually see in these low-budget minis. However, we didn’t get proper, swoonworthy kisses to match the incredible, sizzling chemistry created between the leads. Also, attempted murder was just brushed over. No cops or jail time at all. There were a few other issues too, but it was still a 9/10 for me overall. The final episode was corny as hell though.
Excellent drama. This slow burn—Wowwww 🔥🔥🔥🤣. We might as well start calling the leads “Scarlett, Rhett, Melanie, and Ashley” because that’s who they are, complete with a “civil war” to boot. I wonder if the writers got the rights from Margaret Mitchell’s descendants, lol?
My new crush. I love his good acting and striking face. Very unique. Obsessed and mesmerized after “Extremely Perilous Love.” Enjoying him now in the modern drama “Love at Second Glance.” His honey-dripping, steamy-dreamy bedroom eyes 👀. Woowwww. 😍
The FL actress, Daisy Li, impresses me more and more with each new drama she’s in. She’s good. In this role, however—blame the writers—the FL character was terrible. Nevertheless, she took this gullible, basically idiotic, dual-character and just knocked it out of the park.
This ML, Wang Zu Yi, is new for me. His face is so striking and interesting-looking. Very unique. Very good actor. Very charismatic. Definitely want to see him in more dramas.
At episode 20. Good acting. Excellent visuals. Sizzling chemistry. All the makings for an outstanding drama except for the exasperating plot. Pretty good, but the writers made the FL character unbearably gullible. FL character is such a loser. ML was problematic too—poor communicator which contributed to the FL’s misunderstandings. But would she have listened anyway even if he had explained things from the start? Shame on the writers. Otherwise, we could have had a truly great and swoonworthy drama. Four more episodes. Will see if the writers can turn this around.
Wait I don’t understand, will this season be on disney instead of netflix?? But the first season is on netflix…
Disney+ definitely bought it. Not expected to be on Netflix. I noticed, however, some Disney+ kdramas are on Hulu (like “Moving,” the new Han Hyo Joo/Jo In Sung drama, for example, if I’m not mistaken). That gives me hope because Disney+ for the US is crap when it comes to releasing kdramas on their platform.
Stupid script. I love Luo Zheng, but this is just too stupid. He needs a team who will get him better projects. FL’s baby voice is annoying beyond words.
I don't think he was cringey in business proposal; that series had a typical cliche theme. AHS did a great job…
His love scene was cringey. He’s clearly not experienced yet doing those kinds of scenes. He was very awkward. But, maybe the Director was partly to blame as well. Everything else about that drama was delightful.
Hate so much Disney+ bought this and not Netflix. Disney+ is the worst. It never has any of the latest dramas in the USA when they are released everywhere else.
