Same. I don’t like her visuals or her acting. She seems like a nice person though. But, I don’t like her dramas. She also has an older, mature woman vibe (Love At Night). When she plays “cutesy”, it’s just over the top and off-putting (Intense Love).
I questioned about the Engilsh word "Butterfly" ; this word is a noun. Why they change to a verb.
“Butterfly” is also a verb. It means to split (a piece of meat or fish) almost in two and spread it out flat, like butterflied shrimp or a butterflied chicken breast. I really hope, therefore, that doesn’t mean her husband will be killed in a terrible way like this. Surely not! I don’t think the writer would do that to us. Not sure at this point who the “butterflied” lover will be—the FL, the ML, or someone else.
Sweet, warm, feel-good. Great friendships. Healthy relationships. Great story development. Bland kisses though. I would give this a 10 if we’d gotten proper kisses. But still, one of the better dramas in this genre. Right up there with “A Love So Beautiful” and “Time and Him Are Just Right.” Even better actually.

Same. She’s very smart and informative about Chinese culture. But, she judged “Hidden Love” prematurely without giving it a fair shake. She said she didn’t even finish episode 1. She threw the “P” word out there recklessly. The drama is not representative of her damning assertions. She does, however, make the valid point that parents should be wary of whom they allow around their kids. However, the parents in the drama were indeed watchful and responsible parents and the ML character was not a predator.

Ignore her. It’s a sweet, warm, and wholesome love story. ML behaved properly at all times. He treated her with brotherly affection as a kid. His affection turned to romantic love when she grew up and he discerned that she cared for him. It was only when she became an adult that he saw her as a woman.

People have different sides to their personality. Actually, he is still the funny guy in “First Frost” as he was in “Hidden Love”. We just also see his serious, sensitive, unfunny, aloof side as well. In reality, in “Hidden Love” he was moody and sarcastic too with the dry humor, but he was still a funny, lovable guy.
