nolatoo

Say what you will about her, but got to hand it to Madam Yu—she really knows how to play the game. The way she reverse-psychologied her son had me rolling 🤣

I wish he would at least tell Yake why he’s disappointed in her now—like the way she sold her inheritance and disregards classic literature. He won’t communicate properly with her, just broods and wallows in disappointment 🙄. I honestly would like to see their relationship improve even though I know they are despicable people.

FL is so straight up and direct with the ML about what she wants with him. I admire her character. She’s cunning and smart, but also very simple and honest, and certainly very naive when it comes to love. I love her slow and steady development as she learns what true love is. Ep 10 so beautiful.

The worst little weasel ever

💯

Ep 7– FL is catching feelings 😊☺️

Perhaps. The FL is definitely trying to help him towards a better path and future.

At present, he’s a smuggler.

Did you check the settings? Or reboot? Maybe a reboot will fix it.

🤷🏾‍♀️It had subs on my app for ep 6.

So many unlikable characters! Great drama though. Exceeding my expectations. 😊. But, yes agree , she’s the worst. 😒

I think she thinks it will elevate her status in the family. But, also she resents the privileged life of the FL. Sis-n-law wants to bring her down a few notches by having her marry below her status.

The Tencent app. I paid extra for the express episode.

I love them both so much. Very well-written characters. Their story development is progressing nicely.

Ancy Deng looks especially pretty in this drama. I am loving everything about it so far.

Man, this is so good! Episode 6–WOW.

So, is the real imperial Salt Censor is also named Zhao Ling and he just coincidentally has the same name?

much better

They were just ok. FL character is sweet and warm, but a bit too giddy, childish and naive for my taste. It’s hard for me to understand how the ML is attracted to a drunkard like her. That’s not cute. The attraction that 2ML has for her seems more natural and makes sense, but he has a gay vibe. So, I’m confused about him. If this doesn’t get any better, I’m dropping after a few more episodes. I applaud this actress’s range though because it is hard to believe this is the same girl in “Shop for Killers.”

She never submitted to a marriage ceremony with the brother of the hateful sis-n-law. But, I believe she and the ML are indeed in a contract marriage.
