No. Pure coincidence, from what I can see. He moved there to learn more about the company. He has big plans for the company’s growth. He is happy about crossing paths with her though even though he’s holding a grudge against her and being mean because she “forgot” him.

I feel like it’s a tad different. Usually we see rich guy/poor girl or vice versa fighting with overbearing parents keeping them apart. Or, we see two rich kids forced into loveless arranged marriage by the family elders. Here we’ve got two social equals who are naturally growing in attraction to each other. It’s a Prince and Princess story, a bit different from the stereotypical Cinderella motif.

Doing the math would put them at 35 and 41 in 2025 (13 years after 2012 when they were 22 and 28).

I wasn’t rooting for ML when he was taking revenge on FL. Definitely unprofessional on his part. I don’t feel he belittled NXG quite as harshly as the SML though. He criticized/sneered at her “forgetting” him. Beyond that, he didn’t seek to undermine her sense of self-esteem like the ML. Um, well, he did say she was cosplaying as a commoner. That was kinda rude, but funny too🤭. As social equals though, I feel like LYS can get away with a joke like that with NXG. Anywho, I feel a difference in the vibes of both men.
