did the ratings just drop from 8.4 to 8.3?!! How the hell??!!
The way the story went after his accident was poorly done, in my opinion. Not well-explained. No scenes to thoroughly convey the criminals’ takedown nor how Zhao survived the crash. I wanted visuals. The drama director glossed over all that.
Also, all of this push-and-pull, one-upping each other, jealousy, purposely causing the other to misunderstand—so tiresome. We want this to STOP. It was a tiny bit funny at first, but the misunderstanding, poor communication, hidden feelings, and secrets have dragged on too long. Let’s reconcile properly, maturely, already.
Can anyone explain what exactly has happened to jin zhao why he is ignoring her, coz i have not watched till there
He was badly injured in an underground race car accident. He didn’t want her by his side during his arduous rehabilitation. He wanted her to be carefree, to be by her sick mother’s side, to have a better life than what he thinks he can provide her. The typical “I will push you away because I love you” trope.
Just started this last night, and knocked out three episodes. For some reason, maybe because of the title, I thought…
He was a memorable supporting character in “Only for Love.” But, I am thoroughly impressed with his ability to emote in this drama, Sniper Butterfly. I am new to Michelle Chen, but she’s good too. I know she’s a seasoned actress.
ya'll how weird is the premise of this? they were raised as biological siblings right?
No, he was a young child when he entered Mu Mu’s family. So, he knew all along that he wasn’t blood-related. But, Mu Mu from infancy only knew him as her biological brother; Didn’t learn he was adopted til she was a teenager. So, I find her attraction to him very weird, but I also see how she was able to pivot and accept him as something different than her brother.
Case was closedAccident was done by wen ji he was arrested Everything was explained in yday episode
All that moody build up to take down the bad guys and it ended so unceremoniously. I needed to see arrests and court sentencing. I needed to hear Jin Zhao get an apology or an admittance of guilt from Wangi boss.
She’s not a bad actress. She does cute “aegyo” a lot which causes many not to take her seriously, but she…
My favorite role of hers was “Moonlight”—very smart and strong character, don’t be fooled by the baby voice, really good drama. She was also impressive in “My Journey to You”—total badass in that drama with zero baby voice.
Is Esther Yu this bad of an actress normally? not just her but I watched the first 2 episodes with some friends…
She’s not a bad actress. She does cute “aegyo” a lot which causes many not to take her seriously, but she actually emotes very well during tense and angsty scenes.
Maybe not your cup of tea but it’s definitely not a boring drama. It’s a beautiful one and I didn’t find…
I definitely think it was selfish that she kept Li Wu living in her home even after her Dad offered to take him in. It would have been more appropriate for Li Wu to stay with her parents. Ostensibly, Cen Jin kept him because she didn’t want to anger her temperamental mother. But, in reality, I just think she was a lonely, emotional mess after her bad failed marriage. She needed a care project. I think that’s what Lu Wu was for her, at least, at first. I’m not really sure when her feelings changed. But, there was a moment when he was in high school and they texted back and forth ( when he sent her a pic of himself in his uniform)—during those moments, they definitely had dating-coupe vibes texting and giggling at each other’s texts. I think she started having romantic feelings then, she just was in denial.
Yeah it was sweet and charming. My first He Yu drama and I liked it. He was very devoted to her and already had…
It took her a while. She was resistant at first even though her attraction was strong and obvious. She was embarrassed to be attracted to someone she had only ever seen as a kid.
All I know is that HY does not need any pointers on kissing that man has it down on lock I don’t know whether…
They were childhood playmates and he adored her his whole life, but she only saw him as her “kid brother” neighbor friend. Their families were close friends and lived next to each other. They both grew up and lived separate lives. He went abroad to study, but eventually he moved back home and started to pursue her seriously. Her mind was blown. It was a charming drama.
