OMGGGGG 😆😑😅 I was thinking the same thing. Esther creates smoldering chemistry with her Male Leads, but she doesn’t deliver with hot kisses, like say, Bai Lu or Zhao Lusi. This is a 13+ production, so I guess that’s why she kisses like that. Or, perhaps that’s just her style because she kissed like that in everything else she was in—Moonlight, My Journey to You, Love Between Fairy and Devil.

But, then I lost respect for him when he told Li Wu to hurry up and get well from his headaches so he wouldn’t burden Cen Jin anymore—so unprofessional and out of line. He should kept the medical treatment about Li Wu only. That was a shady move.

Yes, the actress looks excellent. Takes care of herself well. But, my comment was about the character, not the actress herself. I wonder why they styled the character to show her legs so much. And one time, her office blouse was an off-the-shoulder number 😆. Even the bar owner bestie doesn’t show as much skin. Just an observation.
The Director and drama stylist are deliberately conveying a message about the character with these wardrobe choices, but I can’t figure out what the message is. Or, is this just a vehicle to showcase the actress’s beauty? Doesn’t detract from the show necessarily. I just find it quite curious.
