Ryan Cheng’s singing in the background is everything! Love it. But, Li Shuang disappointed me in this scene just a teensy bit. Couldn’t she have said, ‘let’s get to the bottom of this, there’s an egregious misunderstanding, your actions are unacceptable, but let’s work to understand what really happened.’. Couldn’t it, shouldn’t it, have gone like that? 😔😔😔😔😔😔. To be fair though, if someone attacked my father, it’s game over for me too. I would go ballistic.

As Prince Annan, he clearly says, “I really do love you. But there are things that I have to do.” I REALLY DO LOVE YOU. That was all I needed to hear. Had to pause the episode to post this. Ok…resuming the episode…

Did Li Shuang’s dad really kill Jin’an’s dad? I know we saw the flashback as he told the story, but I still am hoping it is not true.

Ok, I missed this point—Did Li Shuang have a deal with CP (now emperor) that she could go to Wulong Mountain to save Jin’an if she agreed to come back afterwards and be the Empress? I thought CP had demoted her, took her army, said he was kicking her to the curb because she WOULD NOT marry him. I’m confused.🤔 Why did Jin’an comfort her in the carriage saying ‘I’m sorry you had to carry all this alone’, something to that effect?
