So, she’s obsessed because that’s her whole identity (the crown, being a royal), taught to her, drilled into her, since infancy, no doubt. She is immensely proud of that heritage and she’s not about to drop the ball, nor is she going to let her son drop the ball. You best believe she’s going to make sure her son, her family legacy, remains firmly, and fabulously, on the throne come hell or high water. That’s why she’s so obsessed.

Maybe we can collectively will it into existence 😆. This Director directed “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim” and “Because This Is My First Life”. So, I know he knows how to capture a heart-fluttering kiss. Let’s hope he can work his magic again here.

Good start. Hoping for the best. The visuals and cinematography are already outstanding though—Looks high-budget.

Secretary Do looks like the girl-version of Gong Myong. They could play twins.

Btw, does IU do proper kisses? Or is she one of those fish-kiss actresses? She doesn’t seem like the type to do a proper kiss to me.

The writing for Wu Do Hwan’s dialogue was the worst. He barely uttered more than two sentences in any given scene. I feel like his character was seriously written-down for some reason this season. I found it baffling. The plot overall was very simplistic. But, I’m already sat for Season 3 nonetheless, patiently waiting, excited for whatever they give us 🤭😄.

I heard, in general, Netflix’s new business model is to simplify writing and over-repeat the plot (basically dumb things down for people) because the executives and analysts believe that people don’t pay attention thoroughly to dramas anymore as they are playing with their phones while watching.

That’s the state of society now. 😳🤨😄. I can’t take some things too seriously. Not worth it.

I’m proud of her success. She’s a hardworker with the talent to go along with it.

This is the first drama where I ever saw Hwang Chan Sung’s attractiveness. He was appealing in this drama—acting on point, fight scenes on point, visuals on point, character/role choice on point. He needs to keep bringing this level to all his dramas.

I enjoyed her in “Five Enough”—great series. She was an unknown actress, but was very hilarious in “She Was Pretty”—really stood out. I could tell she was special. She was also memorable in “High School King of Savvy.” Truth be told, I prefer her as a supporting actress. She’s an outstanding character actress and adds so much to a scene when she’s supporting.

He’s second lead a lot , well, he was second lead in “Temperature of Love”. He was pretty outstanding in that. The FL character messed him about 🤨. I couldn’t stand her.

So, I guess we’re getting a Season 3. I’m in.
