It’s because of the character here. The character here has so many varied personas and emotions and is very animated. His character in LFG was pretty stoic and one-dimensional. He warmed up a bit as he fell in love, but the character was a serious guy to the bone. Ryan Cheng really couldn’t do much with that character. I doubt anyone could have really brought much else different to that role.

I bet he will spill the beans to the wrong person about the ML’s superhuman alter ego. Wouldn’t be surprised if something terrible happens because of his knowing the secret.
