I asked the same question. At one point (in ep 6, I believe), he said he was afraid she’d be freaked-out if she knew he had self-healing powers. He feared she’d send him away because of it. That makes no sense to me however because she is already at terms with his need to drink her blood, which is waaaay freakier than self-healing powers.

He reached in for what seemed like kiss, doing the sexy stare, in ep 9, but he psyched her out and sucked her neck instead. I don’t know why he teased her like that. He was being cheeky naughty.

It was in the middle part of the drama, after he came to terms with the fact that General Li had always been good to him and that he should’ve never let a stranger poison his mind about her. I don’t remember when that was exactly.

Ep 9–Why they tease us like that? 💋💋💋💋

That director is not good. She teases the audience too much and builds a lot of hot chemistry, but doesn’t deliver with the skinship scenes. She blurs everything out and it’s not because of censorship. It’s her style. Then, she lets all the steamy BTS clips get leaked to the audience which is even more frustrating because why didn’t she just put that in the actual drama like other directors. I swore I would not watch another of her works, but I really do want to this one. I think Zhao Lusi is done for though. She’s not going to win against the machine.

The two lady guards at General Li’s residence were funny in ep 4, when the subordinate guard kept repeating the questions that the head guard asked, then Jin’an said, “Where’s that echo coming from?”—Had me rolling 😂😆🤣
