5. When Qiao and her second-in-command guard questioned Jin’an for eavesdropping, the second female guard kept repeating the questions and Jin’an said, “Where’s that echo coming from?” 😂

6. When the General and Jin’an were consulting together like a real couple about how to handle Prince Li, the loving concern on Jin’an’s part as he stroked her hair and said, “Don’t worry” and her respectful manner of looking to him for assistance, completely assured that they were working on the same team—OMG such a couple-goals moment.

7. The numerous shirtless scenes, oh the eye candy 🍬 🍭 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽😄😄

Why didn’t he admit to her that he remembered their love and life together before sending her back to Taijin?

She wanted more time with him. She told him straight up that it made her happy when he came to see her. Honestly, she didn’t want him to leave.

I think it really was because of the kids. She kissed him just fine when they left.

What do you mean—like when she asked for the 30 dishes, or when she asked for the qin? The dishes were not really for herself but for her army. The qin—yes, I think she was flirting. She was purposely messing with him, being naughty, getting his dander up a bit. She wanted to trigger his memory. But, when his memory finally was triggered and he force-kissed her, she claimed that he wasn’t Jin’an. So, I was confused about why she didn’t admit that he was Jin’an. I guess she wanted him to fully remember on his own.

Same 9/10 for me too. A bit more dark romance would have been chef’s kiss 🔥.

I’d watch, but I don’t really like the part about always getting into trouble with his wife. I don’t like stories where they make the husband a doofus.

Ok, I need more. So, what are they going do now—just wander around? How are they going provide for that little troublemaker that he wants to have? With their superior skills, seems kind of a waste for them to just wander around in the woods. 😐

Ep 11–Jin’an directly tells and shows the General that he is the masked man in black (with the supernatural powers). Interestingly, however, subsequent episodes reveal that many people had already put two and two together and figured out that they were the same person. They were just keeping quiet about it, e.g., Qiao’er, General Li’s father, and others. He directly revealed himself to the General’s brother in a previous episode, but I forgot which one that was—maybe ep 9. That was regarding the country of Taijin. But, in ep 35, it was revealed to the Yao State palace court.

I feel like her kiss scene was better in “Destined.” She laid a kiss on Bai Jing Ting in that drama that had me going damnnnnn. The chemistry here in Shadow Love is hotter though. Weird right?
