What? She is no more concubine? the damn subtitles. Can some explain?
She asked to be released in Ep 7 and said she is moving from Jiang’s estate. She said she’s going to live at her place (Fragrance Garden) from now on. She said that because she thinks that Jiang will get a wife eventually and she is sad about that. They both like each other, but they are not communicating this effectively to each other. So, Jiang is letting her go because he thinks that is what she wants. But, they agree to keep working together to expose Prince Ning.
I heard that this Director didn’t provide proper guidance during “Almost Lover” leaving Zhao Lusi (who we know is an absolute professional) frustrated and confused. I heard that this was part of the reason for her getting ill and leaving that project early. So, I have my concerns with this project with Ding Yuxi & Deng Enxi. If the experienced Zhao Lusi struggled a bit with this Director, it doesn’t bode well for the lesser experienced DEX, perhaps. 🤔 Of course, I hope I am completely wrong.
do you think they're gonna marry for real now? or only by the end when king ning and his people are out i'm all…
I’m guessing it’ll be a long while before a wedding. I don’t think they will give us that right now. Like you said, they’ve got work to do bringing down Prince Ning and County Princess and whatnot. Also, my prediction is that Liu Chang will try to get in there once he learns Mu Dan is unmarried again.
Honestly, I’m glad she was released from being a concubine. It was such an insult to have that title even though we know it saved her life. At least, now, she has the possibility of becoming his legitimate wife which is the dignity she deserves.
Are they trying to say the princess's previous marriage is what caused her to be the unapologetic murderous villian…
She was a bad seed from the beginning. Even if there had not been the first hubby, I am sure she would still be the evil-minded, entitled person that she is.
