I believe we will get it.
It’s a slowburn though. Not progressing in a manner to my satisfaction. Their comfortable easy playfulness has been replaced with awkwardness and anxious misunderstandings. I know they will work through all this, but man, am I annoyed. They still care deeply for each other though and work well together as a team. But, the romance is not there yet. Just a lot of silent yearning. 🙄

I don’t believe he would’ve have fallen in love with the daughter of the man who killed his mother. It’s even bizarre to me that he married into that family. But, I guess that was a means to get closer to the enemy to take them down? That totally did not work.

I agree with this except the slight against Zhen Zhen’s looks. She’s very pretty too. But, yes, Tao Hua is quite exceptional. Most pale in comparison.

what are the differences from the kdrama?
In general, this version skips a lot of intricate plot details. It’s only 10 episodes after all. Not as funny as the k-version. But overall, quite good. However, if I didn’t know the plot already, I would be quite confused because the plot development is not as easy to follow as the k-version. Both MLs are very swornworthy, but I must say j-version ML is especially smoldering. I am expecting A LOT from the kiss scenes when they finally happen. J-version FL is very cute and adorable and likable, but I think Park Min Young was more charismatic, sexier. Still, both are very good.
