My only criticism of Park Bo Young is that (as Mi Ji) she has this way of not enunciating clearly and her speech sounds like mumbling. She hardly moves her mouth when speaking. I only noticed it in episode 12. It’s really hard to listen to. Perhaps, it’s aegyo (is that the right word?), but it’s like nails on a chalkboard to me. I want to scream “Speak properly! Enunciate.” 😩😅
to be honest ...and you can disagree lol but I think he knows his feelings bc he's very thoughtful and clearly…
I think he’s only open to falling in love with Daeum because he perceives it will be/could be a short-lived relationship. I know that sounds harsh to assess him like that. But, I don’t think he would have been interested if she was a a healthy regular girl with a long life ahead of her. He doesn’t want any long-term entanglements. I still want to understand what happened with Seoyoung. I haven’t been paying attention properly—was he ever really in love with her? Weren’t they married before?
He's a classic "artist"...but he's cold only on the outside if you see his actions he's almost caring to a fault…
Thanks for clarifying. Gonna be honest—I haven’t been paying attention to the details. This drama is not my cup of tea (which is odd because it should be exactly the kind of thing I like), but I’m usually playing on my phone while watching. I can tell this is a quality drama, but it just doesn’t hold my attention well.
Don’t come for me, but I’m not sure about Wang An Yu in a historical drama. I loooove him in modern dramas and he’s the king of chemistry (well one of the kings of chemistry), but I’m not so sure about historical, serious drama. I didn’t care for that xianxia drama he did with Zhao Lusi.
So, he and Seoyoung were never married? Isn’t she a divorcée?
