how serious is this drama? i don't wanna watch anything too emotionally draining
I agree with the other comments. If you want to have fun watching this series you have to be very open minded, other wise you will feel frustrated or angry at some characters. This is just pure evil fun
I know that a lot of people on this comment section are hating big time on the SFL, but I actually have empathy for her. She started out as a very proud and self-assured woman. She was even kind and genuinely trying to have a good work relationship with her coworkers and even trying to make new friends. In a way, she wanted everything, the status and financial security that her family has always provided, a job that she had earned, a new friend and a handsome, smart and kind boyfriend.
But in this episode her perfect world that she thought she had built ¨by herself¨ started crushing down. That birthday scene at the table, yes it was terrible that she invited FL and SML, but that was a way to show that she was putting up a fight, trying to hold on to something that was slipping away.
I´ve never been a big fan of the SFL, but that last scene on the side of the road was very touching. She was trying to understand what went wrong, very humane in my opinion. She can´t understand why ML doesn´t love her since she has everything any man would ever desire or want; money, connections, beauty, brains, youth…

Isn't great that we are watching the same series and have different opinions? That means that the writer and director are doing a hell of job. My take on it is that the FL and the ML have a serious crush on eachother, perhaps the ML's is a bit more intense. I wouldn't label either one as a coward because we all do the things we do based on our circumstances and values of the moment. They probably regreted getting into all that mess, but if they didn't we wouldn't be talking about it 😉

Let's agree to disagree. I certainly have a different opinion of NC. Just judging by the information that the drama has provided so far, he has been cheated in life. If having an affair will wake him up and learn to take charge of his own life i'm all for it.
The way this writer has gone about it is just not to my taste. Therefore, i can say that this story line is my least favorite as of now, sad because it used to be my favorite.

In real life, cheating is an awful business, it can become something really dirty and messy, but this is a drama and I don´t take it to heart. My morals are flexible when it comes to fiction hehehehehe
Given the circumstances of this 50 year old man he totally deserves some fun. He was groomed and taken advantaged by that stingy father in law of his from a very young age. After all what he has done, he is overworked, mistreated, unable to help out his family, cheated out of his money, his wife doesn´t respect him or even like him and his older child pities him. What a horrible existence, don´t you think?

I don't have a problem with her wrecking nc's life and family since its not really working for him or for anyone involved. My problem is with the way they do it. The whole fake camping and dynamic is a completely turn off for me. Why? Well i think It is because i expected something a bit more mature given that ES was introduced as a badass character. Anyway that weird stuff feels so out of character

I am so dissppointed with ES character. She started out very promissing; strong personality, fun with the " i don't give shit, but don't mess with my family" kind of attitude. So what happened? Bad writing most likely

For those that have seen it, know what i'm talking about and if you haven't, check it out, one of the best kdramas in recent years. Just like that drama, this is a character driven series that can make the viewer frustrated at times and others emotionally drained
