I finally understood why she didn't confess her love because of the things (TTJ) did & misunderstanding they had; I mean the dark path of this drama, the misunderstanding involved a lot of death & the fact that TTj is a demon god makes it harder for her. And from what I read in the comments, TTJ in the novel is WORSE, & what he did to YXW was worse after she tried to kill him (but I understand his nature & she did try to kill her tho). This is giving me ashes of love, the question of whether the FL loves the ML(the recipe of melodrama). I guess this will uncover the next episodes.

Yeah and maybe due to his diet as ballet dancer. Most ballet dancer have this specific diet while growing up and lead to a certain body type. Plus, as you said, his latest drama has this makeup wanting to make him looks thinner (plus the editing lighting). That doesnt matter at all, he's just the top in his game among male chinese actor now. He's just full of expression.

nice lakorn to watch, not many unnecessary plots. And love her story in the village, scenes are enjoyable.

I understand the excitement of this drama but Kindly put a spoiler alert. Weirdly, Many commentators seem to forget that for this drama.

This deserves all the love! Yes, its not perfect drama (god the lighting!), but The world-building, arc, & characters are just well-placed. Every scene is well thought that's why there is no filler. Usually, in this genre, we have to wait for certain ep for the climax, but here, every episode is worth a watch (like starry love). Future dramas should take note of this; 40 ep have more chance to develop the characters, arc, plot esp this genre. Maybe ml & fl are just a good pair , but even the side characters, the production team really put a lot of thought into choosing them.

This is better than Love between fairy and devil. Maybe because there's no filler part, and the demon really looks and acts like pure evil, so I can take their scenes seriously. Plus both ml, Fl (ngl, they r damn good actors) & other supporting actors are carrying the story too.

It's a Xianxia, but I feel like I'm watching Wuxia drama when it comes to the war. This drama is the best in both worlds (human and the immortal world), and the director is taking seriously with every scene; the music. Never seen drama take every scene of cinematography this seriously. I mean, I never want to skip scene, wanted to enjoy the intensity of every scene and script of each character even the army, guards etc

All the side characters stand out, even the guards. Everyone is made for the character, not overly animated or just as props like in other fantasy dramas. Maybe the plot is quite heavy 4 a fantasy drama, plus the director put a proper script for each character which I appreciate soo much.

He's a good actor, period, one pf the best for current male drama actor

The cinematography, the acting, costumes are just amazing. The dramatic directing delivers the intensity of the plot. In many past dramas, I can't take the demon king seriously(sometimes too staged), but this, ML really looks evil &the directing leads to that.
