ZLH acted quite well with a man with a grey personality. Some actors might take the non-expressive routes of expression, but ZLH was surprisingly good tbh. He literally carried his longing with Niang from the first ep, just by his gaze. Whoever can manifest a slow-burn romance for me is a good actor esp with SOKP. Their romance started In ep 30 but still, he manifested his emotions from ep 1. I can mention other current male popular actors that can't even carry what ZLH carried.

This is the best tbh, but no romance

Plot-wise, this drama is capable of hvg S2, even from the political plot alone. The execution of ALL characters is good to the extent, that it is not skippable at all.

That's such a tragic end. To think that XW did love Jiang but she never noticed that. And for him to carry the burden of his feeling until he commit suicide...

wow, nice for the first 6 eps. Typical plots but the anticipation of the romance is engaging and apparent. So I love it.

Cause the ending, showed how he commited suicide, while questioning who is his real self. Whats lead the suicide?

Can someone explain the ending of the past of XW-

😂😂

Definitely an A list series. One of the success is being consistent with the plots, the characters they tried to potray.

Omg you should watch Till the End of Moon, a very popular series this year, one of the best wuxia drama, the comment section along is 100k lol. And modern drama Love is Sweet; a good office romance drama. Literally defines the title, it's not perfect but still fulfils romance plots.

try to watch it via laptop. havent tried with TV.

They deserve the awards. Kinda weird if they didnt.

And the ending! Can you imagine they acting in modern drama? Their chemistry will be exploding fr.

True. We can find older actors has this aura but not the younger actors. A great future ahead for ZLH. And BL too, she's just top current C actress tbh.

Omg ZLH seriously damn handsome. He literally has an idol aura yet he can act so goods in historical drama.

Yes. A very nicely done ending of all Cdrama. Not dragging any plots or characters.

True. Amazing how can they direct the plots so nicely which many cdrama failed in the last 10-5 eps esp when they have to compressed a lot of things.

Seriously BL and ZLH, have the best chemistry out of their partners they have. BL is kinda great with anyone & I love her with Leo, but ZLH exceeds everything. I felt like Im watching their real and raw emotions.

To many things to write but I love how every relationship matters in this drama & signifies the plot, Jian with the princess, XW as a lover, ZZ as her first love, and YL as BF. The emperor with XW, how their duty and loyalty lie. Every connection in this drama revolves around love, friendship, 7 loyalty.

OMG, just completed the drama, its an amazing drama! Best this years and one of the best Cdrama. 10/10 for able to put everything beautifully in a drama.
