Exactly! We are still in 1999 and 2 years away from them "falling in love." Playing matchmaker to go find YiJin and then have a whole storyline of getting them together would take a while. Because obviously they have to end up together even if MinChae is not his child. So to build up ANOTHER love story in the present would just take too much time I think. So far, every episode hasn't spent too much time in the present so I don't think that will change. So theory #1 has GOT to be true! I'm not sure how yet, but it has to be!
