Okay it was bad enough that I wept so many tears for 16 episodes. Tears of joy and beauty, sadness. rollercoaster…
I really believe that, through life and "triggers", she was remembering about their life, as we can see when she sees the star and remembers the baby, or when Hyunwoo is entering surgery and she then remembers when she was entering surgery.
We WILL have a happy ending atleast that's confirmed. In the next episode I think Hyun Woo will prove his innocence…
One thing I'm loving in this drama is how intelligent the leads are, specially Hyunwoo. They don't rely on the stupidness of the main characters for the story to go on
the romance was total BS 😔 like he fell inlove with her that night suddenly ?? then spend the whole series…
I agree so much with you, that romance was really off! I was surprised that they made the story as if he really was into her and not only trying to forget Sihyeon
Was really enjoying it, trying to understand how their relationship would evolve, but saw some comments mentioning…
I wish that had shown how and why Ning Zhi Qian fell in love with her... if it wasn't just him seeing her after 7 years, being alone, and settling for it. I wanted to see what he loved about her.
Was really enjoying it, trying to understand how their relationship would evolve, but saw some comments mentioning what happens in the end and then it got ruined because I started to atch the next episodes rushing and annoyed because of how i THOUGHT it would end. If I knew how it REALLY did, I would've liked it much more and maybe would've watched the last episodes not being that annoyed. But I can admit that the last 6 episodes really were non sensical.
But now that I think of it, the drama wasn't that bad. I just got carried away by the comments.
The protagonists acting was amazing, specially Chu Ran's. Loved the little Ning Xian. Except for the derailing of the last episodes, I really liked the drama and was curious to see how the main couple would settle.
The production was HQ, but the photography, shots and edition were sometimes laughable.. It was like they were testing some shooting techniques on film school or something, some random hand shoots and slow motion, the color palette changing to that yellow when they were in Africa.. Could've been a LOT better
Comment below about one point on their relationship:
What I think this drama is about and why I am pissed:But, first, I want to praise the actors, specially Geum Saerok!…
I think one of the answers of this drama lies on that scene of SY and SS on the bus stop, when she says that life is a cycle and they are always coming back to the same place. If you pay attention to it, the drama has been, for 14 episodes, that lingering and repetitive two main leads getting closer and growing apart, without EVER making a decision (which is what PISSES ME OFF in this drama). They have been acting in a immature way from the start. We don't even get to see them trying to have a relationship, trying to deal with their differences, learning how to deal with one another. They just look sad all the time, while glancing at each other while on work. It would be perfectly possible if, like, in two or three episodes in the middle they were actually in a relationship, even if secret (both having ended up things on their previous relationships, of course), and then something happens, they have to part ways, she says that she likes to destroy things herself, and the plot continues, somewhat, as it is.
What I think this drama is about and why I am pissed:
But, first, I want to praise the actors, specially Geum Saerok! Moon Gayoung could be better, I think she has a style of acting that I like to call "slow-eye-following", in which she reacts to everything by looking deeply and slowly, moving her body first and then her eyes (which is not really realistic, humans look first and then move, or do both at the same time). But I like how different she is from what she did in True Beauty, the drama that made me get to know her.
I think the intent of this drama is to get me guessing till the end. While I posted my char interpretation last…

14+ hours of my life wasted in this drama... I just want to know what happens a see if there's any kind of redemption to these characters. Everything is so slow, the relationship of the main couple doesn't show progress. Maybe this is what the writers wanted, to show that love doesn't go in a straight line - the contrary, really, as Suyeong said, that life is a cycle. But it could be a cycle with these characters evolving! In my opinion, second female lead is the best character of this drama.
