It's still stolen money. Doesn't matter that they didn't steal it directly from her. If you steal a stolen car, you've still stolen a car, doesn't matter if you eventually return it, your original crime still happened.

I haven't heard any controversies about this drama, but what do you mean about the stunt doubles? Did they not know they were stunt doubles?

By the time you get to the end, there's a smaller number that are driving the narrative, so they would be the ones for me that I'd be disappointed if recast. It's like when Dylan Wang replaced Chen FeiYu in Ever Night. Neither were great actors at the time, but CFY managed to make that role his own, and WHD could not capture that. I dropped S2 at ep 10 because I just couldn't buy into the new portrayal.

Well, I made it almost half way through, so I'm patting myself on the back for that, but Bai Lu's character giving people relationship advice was the final nail in the coffin for me. I get that it's fantasy, but someone just magically 'knowing' this shit is fucking hilarious and stupid at the same time.

Fingers crossed. I can't imagine anyone else playing the roles that these actors did. I really felt like everyone really owned their performances.

Ep 39 might be the penultimate episode, but it's seriously the ULTIMATE episode of the drama, and is one of my favourite episodes in any drama I've watched. It's was just fucking awesome.

I loved thee completed poem he sent to LinAn with the line something like "It felt like a fleeting memory even while it was happening" and that got me in the feels, because I've had happy moments in my life, but you can almost feel them slipping away while they're happening. And it meant so much to him, writing that to her knowing that she did not remember him 😭
