Because that mother was his daughter. She used the candies to let him know that it was her, and that he'd broken the rule once before when he took the light to her so that she could go back. That's why he cried so much. And he broke the rule again so that she could send his granddaughter home.

FLs hair looks very pretty curled and pinned up - shows off the beautiful shape of her face. That's the nicest thing I can say about this drama 🤣

She absolutely has not lived her whole life as a granny, that's not how human biology works 🤣

Oh, it's definitely not original, but nothing in this drama really is, they're all plot lines we've seen before, but I think they were handled well

Actors don't care about that shit, only young fans.

It's not amazing, it's your regular tropey kdrama, but the chemistry is really good 👍

Very few of our emotional convictions hold for life. We run into experiences and meet people that we could never have expected. I never wanted children, but when I found out I was pregnant, even though I was terrified, I decided to go ahead, and that child is now 18 and brings me so much joy I cannot even express it.

She didn't fall for him in ep 1, but she was definitely attracted to him. Because of her second life, she felt a bond with him from their 'first' meeting, and they had an attraction per the first life. She shoes pretty early that she likes him, but she has reservations about marriage generally, because she thinks it might ruin her life (her mother's marriage and her own from life number 1)

The "I'm not going to tell you" was what, less than one episode? He confessed pretty quickly. And it's quite realistic. People who find out they have terminal diseases often take longer to tell their significant others

If you're not into politics, this is not for you, because it's the driving force of the drama.

Couple goals. I cried. Excellent drama. Love it when cdramas recognise that women can be good and intelligent at the same time. Also, I have a thing for noses, LYR's is freaking perfect.

Visually gorgeous, some nice performances, story gets very ho hum from about ep 23 or 24, and irritating as hell by ep 29. Final ep is good. Probably don't watch if you're allergic to plot armour.

Ep 17 got me in the feels as well.

Also, the barrier that protects your LITERAL life source isn't a very good barrier if all it needs is someone sufficiently suicidal to get through it. Granted, most people aren't, but you only need one.

Yeah, I liked him as well. Just finished it and liked the final episode, and the whole thing looks gorgeous, but plot wise there's too much nonsense

I'm half way though ep 32 and about to throw my phone across the fucking room with the level of stupidity we have reached. JFC 🤣

I've just watched ep 29, and the first half of this is being killed by the plot armour in the second half. The stakes have been reduced to zero, so the 'emotional' scenes aren't even emotional any more. Everyone is going to have to die in the end to make up for this bullshit.
