Well, it finally happened... after 130+ dramas, I've rated a series a 10. This was a brilliantly written + directed…
I want to watch this again, but can't yet bring myself to do so after Lee Sun Kyung's suicide, but I don't really have words for how closely this drama sits with me. It feels intensely personal, and I don't think I'll ever have the connection with a drama the way I do with this one.
Ok I m on ep5 can someone tell me why smoking opium was such a big deal? Does it has something to do with republican…
Opium is highly, highly addictive. It ruins the lives of the addicts and often their families, because addicts will do almost anything to get a hit, and withdrawals can literally kill you.
Thank God they broke up again, them being happy for a couple of episodes was starting to make me think I was watching a different drama, but we're back on track. Might have to drink my way through the final two episodes.
If you‘re pure and innocent, you should definitely not watch the filthy show.
I don't think you've watched any porn if you think this is what it looks like 🤣 The main issue with porn is that it gives people unrealistic expectations of how long it will take for a plumber to show up.

Forced hate? I didn't have to force anything, the terrible acting did all the work for me
The acting styles don't seem outdated, they're just not very good. You can watch superb acting from the 1950s and earlier. 2009 is not very long ago, and trying to excuse sun par production with 'it was 2009 so it's dated' is just making excuses for it.
