This is excellent so far. Byun Yo Han is stellar as always (and so bloody handsome he gives me heartburn) and it's got a great supporting cast. Not sure why the rating isn't higher.
Had some good moments, needs the fat trimmed, ran out of a lot of steam towards the end. Final episode felt like it went on forever, even watching at 1.5x. Good to see another drama without toxic romance. RJ and ZFG far and away the more interesting couple. TXN and JYH had too many dull conversations and are better suited to a documentary about the tedium of married life.
Just how weak the younger generation is nowadays is really sad. Trigger warnings (whatever that means) because…
I'm 46 and disagree with you. Part of being mature is being able to understand that not all things are for all people, and that it's totally OK for people to avoid content that they may find extremely upsetting. It's the same as people not liking gory stuff, or explicit sex scenes, so they rate it and put up a warning accordingly.
I'm on ep 29 and wondering if there's been even one episode where someone hasn't told old matey how incredibly fantastic he is. Tedious in the extreme.
This drama is having an identity crisis, and is trying to combine wildly over the top slapstick humour with discussion of birth defects, suicide and abortion. First two episodes did not work for me.
Agree. I find Kim Ha Neul almost spectacularly wooden.
When she said she loved him, I was like: Are you sure? Because you two are giving the vibe of people who move in the same social circle, but have never actually spoken to each other. I absolutely do not believe that these are two people fighting off the urge to jump into bed and have wild sex
The scene is ep 6 when Rain has his pj top half off one shoulder has given me very strong "This is a Neil Breen movie" energy, and I'm trying very hard to get it out of my mind because Neil Breen is super icky and it's not a vibe I want to be feeling for another 4 episodes 🤣
