Ju Ji Hoon and Lee Se Young have both been offered roles in the drama but neither have accepted as of yet as they are still reviewing them. Ju Ji Hoon would play the role of the Emperor of the Dongdae Empire, Sovieshu, and Lee Se Young would play the role of Rashta Isqua, a runaway slave.
Latest update I've seen is that screenwriter and director Park Chan Wook said that he's currently editing the film and he's hopeful for a Cannes Film Festival premiere. Said heās ālooking forwardā to an invitation to the Cannes Film Festival in May. However, that depends on whether he can finish post-production on time, and there are less than four months left until the submission deadline. This was back on February 17th
