its just polaroid, not a plotwist at all. many actors in the industry changes partner overtime, they don't always stay with the same one, plus the 2 Chay would have been different cause the 2 stories were different, the companies had different stories plus the lack of relationship is also because yes, they aren't the main couple, plus there's a limit of things they can show with 14eps of 1h - you can never show everything and please everyone
