Just wondering if you’re new to watching k dramas? From your list it doesn’t seem like you’ve watched a lot or the popular ones

I did cry lol, when Kim Bom and her family were back at their house. It was so sad, going back home and having a loved one that had such a big presence just not be there anymore while all their things are still left as they last placed them 😭😭
And the father apologizing, even though I didn’t trust him, it still hit me.

I cried more in the first episode when FL’s mother passed away though

Although I agree that simplicity and small things can make you happy, the message here is true and beautiful, it just didn’t land to me as a viewer.

After experiencing all the chaos before the last happy scenes I was left completely confused with how the plot changed in direction. It just felt disconnected to me, plus there were many unanswered questions that left me frustrated

Yeah the lack of romance sure was frustrating because the poster and opening clip were so deceiving.

I agree 😭 Like even the clip with the intro OST was so deceiving

I am just done watching it and I am a little bit disappointed ngl. It started off so well with a promising plot but it became so chaotic and directionless towards the end it was like a different drama.

I thought the story would be more slice of life/melo and focus on the FL, her growths, relationships ect but we got so damn much of Kim Bom’s story that it felt like the drama’s FL was Kim Bom (I only remember her name lol when I don’t remember the FL’s).
I also thought we would get more romance, I don’t care for kisses and skinship if the romance is well, but we didn’t even get a developed story there!
Then, finally, why did we get a mystery/killer trope at the end, it shifted the whole vibe of the series and it ruined the small town wholesome atmosphere that I expected from this drama.

This drama had both a lot of realism in terms of relationship (freindships, neighbors, romance), the harshness and small beauties of life, ect. But it also had ridiculous makjang twists that didn’t belong.

I am happy you got to enjoy it, and I am sorry I am writing this long comment complaining about it, but I wanted to vent about this drama 😭

For real, he is lost and doesn’t know what he wants that guy. 😂

The only reason he wants Mudan is because she told him to do whatever he wants, which no one ever told him that cause everyone around him controls him. And two, he saw her resilience, how independent and strong she is despite all her hardships

Can someone please explain to me why there is a king in the Tang dynasty? Wasn’t there an emperor reigning in this dynasty? Is king like a title for another lower position that can’t be translated in English or something?

Is lady Ok a good Saeguk? I’ve been seeing a lot of mixed reviews lately and I don’t know anymore if I should give it a go. I rly love saeguk so it would be nice. Does it have a good amount of romance? Is it getting too Makjang?

Don’t trust the ratings here, they’re unreliable and there are so many bots. It’s a great drama so go for it!!

She told Da Fu to go away, she didn’t want to drag them with her lest they get the same punishment as her, plus I don’t think they have any influence or authority to help her out of this tricky situation

Yess 🥹❤️ Our boy is whipped for sure haha. I am sure she fancies him, who wouldn’t? He’s so charismatic and he’s such a softie beneath that cocky armour, and she knows it. Yess I am sure he wrote down the list of what she asked for and he’ll make sure to get it all for her 😍, but he’ll first need to rescue her 😬
