SML has a lot of internal issues to deal with in order to figure things out for himself. What FL told him on the bridge was spot on.

I think both SFL and SML deserve happiness but they shouldn’t be together rn, maybe their happiness isn’t with one another at all. SFL has shown multiple times that she uses her power as she pleases no matter how corrupt or cruel it is, as long as it gets her what she wants, and SML hates that, he is very self righteous supposedly.

The princess is in love of with the idea of them together more than in love with him, and has this nostalgia of their first love when they were different people

The part where Byoel’s toy radio with the dog barking sounds turned on was so funny 😭

The drama is cute and cozy but the only thing bothering me is that I am not feeling Yoo Eun Ho’s interest in her in a romantic way. I feel like he is more worried about her loneliness and lack of self care cause he is a very nurturing character. Their scenes together are cute and her interest in him is obvious but I can’t say the same about his interest in her..

I completely agree! I am loving the pacing in this drama, their dynamic change really feels natural and is moving smoothly. Even the people around them are starting to notice their sparks now! Ugh, can’t wait to watch more of them together!

Exactly he has this image to keep up!! Very good point about him not wanting to make it sound too easy for her at the start of their partnership!
As for her, she cares about money but isn’t money hungry either, what she is truly passionate about are her flowers and making a living for herself, so yeah them trying to reaffirm their love for money to one another has a double meaning 🥹💖

The way he flicked her forehead and said “you asked me to knock” and then invited himself in her courtyard was such an adorable scene! I love these details 🤧

It was first revealed in the arrow scene when the princess visited the Liu manor, but it wasn’t confirmed btw them until later. Whenever it was revealed though, he may be strong physically and good at martial arts but it is not a part of his character that we see a lot of. He mostly uses his wit and influence, while it’s his manpower and Liu Chang that deal with the physical things and the fightings. He’s not a general that fights all the time

The romance is very slowburn, but it’s also realistic. The chemistry btw the leads is amazing imo. There’s no constant saving of the FL but he is helpful towards her and he does help her when she asks for it, but it’s not a damsel in distress saving. ML is very powerful and influential as for strength, he is strong, but in a more subtle way (good at martial arts), he uses more his brain than his physical strength though

I also find it really annoying but they explained it as her wanting to be diplomatic and create good relations with the flower society thing. Plus there’s still a good amount of episodes left so it’s probably gonna be an obstacle used later to keep the story moving

The way he looked at her when she said that was so funny! Their chemistry is rly chemistrying, and cause both of them are witty, their banters are so fun

I agree! It’s like watching a traditional painting come to life! The scenes are beautifully filmed, it’s a very visually pleasing drama. I find the music also very good, nowadays the music in dramas are kinda overbearing, loud and overused unecessarily in scenes. Here though, the music suits the scenes well and has this traditional/historical hint to it which adds more to the storytelling!

Lovely runner was cliche true. It was so silly but it felt like the drama was in on the joke and it didn’t take itself so seriously.

Here the reason why I am maybe not finding this unbrella scene as good, is that despite how attentive and caring he is towards Kang, I don’t feel like he’s that interested (romantically) in her yet. In lovely runner we knew that they both liked one another which made the scene rly cute

To me personally the lovely runner one(s) tops it
