Yeah. I still can't stop crying. I was a bit confused about the ending. I thought she might have died too. Why…
there were quite a few forshadowing and ominous conversations they had about their parting and reunion so I don’t remember when but he said that farewell is a nice word to use with your loved one because it means you’ll meet again. So when they meet again in the afterlife (I think) she greets him with the word he mentioned 🥲
He's a menanceðŸ˜ðŸ˜I guess he was disappointed with the situation and wanted her to have two minds???Can't…
I believe it’s all just to create some tension for us viewers. Misunderstandings get cleared out pretty fast though in this drama so that’s good. Keep on watching!!

I was reading yesterday on tiktok that Lee Jae Wook didn't accept the role at first, he said he didn't want to…
That’s so interesting, I am glad he eventually took the role. He embodied his character so well, I honestly can’t imagine another actor playing Hongrang.
Him not having a name was part of his character. He always repeated that he was a nobody, and him not having a name for himself emphasizes that. In his last scene he repeated again that he only became human, a man, after meeting her. His savior (his mom) gave him the identity of Hongrang with his mission. To the painter he was a talisman. To the people that knew of him, he was the soul reaper. He was only what people got out of him until he met Jae Yi. When he met her, he wanted her and started doing things for himself which led to him straying from the mission. I wish he got to live a long happy life with her ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Dear Hongrang is one of my favorite dramas of 2025 so far! The music, cinematography, story telling, the characters and the angst were all really well done. The story had premise and the execution exceeded my expectations. It’s been a while since I enjoyed a drama like I did with this one. I would have liked some things to go a bit differently but otherwise it’s a great story that I highly recommend! I fear it will take time for me to get over this drama.
Yess he’s too perfect and a very 2D character, we don’t know his personality at all really, other than him…
True and the guy just lost his job, isn’t it risky to blur the lines with your new boss who didn’t want you at the beginning? I don’t understand his motives or the logic behind his actions but I’ll still watch it cause despite all of this, their interactions are cute ngl

As for the romance it feels too platonic and again superficial because I am not understanding his character, is he behaving with her out of duty or is he interested in her? and why? like give us some backstory and more emotions!!
