A FUTURISTIC KDRAMA
I really enjoyed this drama. What stood out to me the most was the chemistry between Han Hyo Joo and Ju Ji Hoon. It didn't rely on the usual romance tropes, but their connections felt so genuine and nuanced. There was this tension and trust between them that kept me hooked, and honestly, they made every scene together worth watching.
The story itself has so much potential. The whole idea of lab grown meat and the politics around it is such a fresh concept. It set up something that could easily be expanded into broader world, and I kept thinking while watching that they have to make a season 2. There are still so many unanswered questions and threads that deserve to be explored.
Cinematography wise, I loved how it looked. Especially with its movie-like color grading. The tone, the cool muted palettes, and the way it framed both futuristic and intimate moments made it feel more like a high budget film than a tv show."That's how my world is made" by Natalie Major is absolutely cool and perfect composed for this drama. The rest soundtracks feel so cinematic.
What I also liked was how it wasn't just about suspense or action. It actually made me think about ethics, power, and how technology can reshape our lives for better or worse. It felt fresh and compelling without losing the thrill of a good conspiracy theory.
Overall, this drama really struck me. It is polished, intriguing, and the cast carried it so well. I just hope they give us that second season because there's no way this story should end here.
