reading the comments (those bad feedbacks), i realized that maybe im the problem? like, i just watch everything without judgment? idk why i enjoyed this so much but others tell otherwise, so i was confused, i definitely understood the story and plot, as well as each character’s behavior, or im just like this who enjoys everything T^T

if i feel like i dont enjoy a certain series but i wanted to watch it ‘til the end, i tend to watch it in 2x speed but i never done this in any episode or season, so i was rlly wondering why there’s a lot of bad comments about this series T^T

it was so funny for me that i simultaneously watching Pitbabe and GBYFD 😭 i can’t take watching this at almost midnight, so when the house’s lights are turned off, i switched to Pitbabe HAAHAHAHAHAHA

(1) does that not imply she still had to grow up from that 1995 to present? she already did, those flashbacks of little ZMY with her mom, Qin Mo, and QM’s sister.

(2) how does he watch her grow to the age she is now in 2025, and come back—because ZMY’s mom died early, and as the “uncle” he took the responsibility to make her life good. her mom probably found her (the abandoned baby in the street) after she travelled back to the present, but only Qin Mo know Zhuang Manying’s existence, and she already told him about her in the present, more reason why QM took her. if you mean “come back” about 1995 Qin Mo in the last ep, i also dk why his past self appeared (after he died in the present), ZMY might be just hallucinating or he also travelled or the production just want something for us to think about LOLS

(3) does she not age as the years passed? or are we saying she wasn’t born in 95 but earlier—take note that the person who travelled to the past was her present self, she wasn’t reborn or anything, it was still herself in the present who just went back to the year ‘95 where her mom found her in the street (this scene was shown as a dream, that’s where she found out that they aint blood related).

PS. did you get it? T^T im not rlly good at explaining and i cant find the right terms in english that makes more sense in my language T^T

my understanding from that kind of scene in every time travel dramas is that since the person travelled back in the past, something in the present is still happening.

like for instance, i suddenly travelled back to the past after i got an accident (a trigger), while i travelled back in the past, the present me is still alive, im either in a coma or sleeping (from the accident)—take note that the timeline in the present and the timeline in the past moves way too different, even if in the past (where i travelled) already passed a year or more, it doesnt mean the same in the present (when i come back from the past), i might be just asleep (from the accident, the trigger) for hours or days, just like Zhuang Manying in this drama.

take note again that she ONLY travelled in the year where her mom’s life started to get wrong, thus the reason of her early death without achieving her dreams. ZMY knows she will disappear in any moment after she fulfilled her goal, esp when one of the trigger (the watch) appeared, and knew the reason behind it. eventhough the time traveller is changing the future (before the present year) if talking about present, it still happened in the past. thus, while she’s changing some things in the past, the memories and things in the present are changing too, esp those people involved.

i’m still in EP2 and i keep having cuteness aggression towards Pooh! T^T

Overall, I like it. The only thing that matter to me is that this is another drama together of Dai Gaozheng & Chen Fangtong! Their chemistry is still on-point and great acting skills 😩🫶🏻 I need more dramas of them together again and hopefully this time, it will have a long duration each ep with 12 or 16 eps T^T So that it will have a better writing, plot details, good production, etc! anyway, Rainkissed Fate is still my most fave out of all their drama <“3

another thing, i was so scared how will they end this because QIN MO IS TOO OLD FOR HER AND HE WAS HER UNCLE (which turns out they werent blood related) like okay fine, in the present, the age rlly didn’t matter that much since Zhuang Manying is 25, but i am still bothered by the age gap LOLS idk why but i was glad QM didnt let ZMY to know he remembers her, only after he died. THAT WAS A RELIEF FOR ME, ISTG 😭

PS. above are just my thoughts and opinions on what i understand from the drama and reference some knowledge from previous time travels drama i have watched, i might be wrong but i will stick with it to not confused myself further 😭

ANDDDDD does the last part also mean Qin Mo time travelled or was ZY hallucinating? eitherway, it was for the best! HAHA

(4) “went to the past and then came back to the future” the trigger was the watch given by QM and i assumed that it was bec of QM why ZY went back to the past. another trigger was Zhou Zeyang and Zhang Guolong’s plan to kill ZY thru car crash/hit by a car—after ZY found the watch in the cemetery and ran to QM, ZZY & ZGL hit her then the screen showed QM’s regretful reaction, and that’s the start of her time travel in 1995, then when she also went back to present, days after QM gave her the same watch she found in her mother’s tomb, she was again hit by a car (still ZZY), the screen showed QM’s reaction again and the watch, then came back to present with a slightly change of fate, esp ZSS’s (which was her goal). i assumed QM was one of the reasons why she went back to the past is bec the way he yearned for ZY, both in the past and present.

i agree with you that they didnt explained it well, so i just assumed other things and details to make sense. and honestly, there were scenes that very confusing, tho i just watched this with average expectations since it is just a mini drama with no longer than 15mins duration each ep, so obvi they cant put every detail they want to convey (gah, maybe i was so used in this kind of mini dramas who lacks too much details), im just glad that i have watched many time travel dramas that i understood some parts that are confusing to many, and also since this is another Dai Gaozheng & Chen Fangtong drama, i am always ready to watch whatever genre it is HAHAHAHA

these are my theories/thoughts for the parts or scenes that were left confusing to u (and to me, lols)

(i quoted some comments under this post too, i just put everything here hehe)

(1) “he watched her grow up” since during the past (when Zhuang Yan/Zhuang Manying travelled) she said to Qin Mo that she is Zhuang Shanshan’s daughter in the future, thus when ZSS died (let’s say ZSS still adopted baby ZY when she saw her abandoned in the street—eventho ZY told her in 1995 that she shouldn’t take an abandoned baby she will see in the street and instead focus on her dreams esp being on stage (dance), take note that the only person who remembered ZY existence in 1995 is only Qin Mo, thus ZSS still keep the abandoned baby which was ZY—eventho ZSS’s fate changed, ZY’s didn’t, thus in the present, she was still ZSS’s adopted child) QM took care of baby ZY, watched her grow up and WAITED FOR 1995 ZY TO COME BACK IN 2025, like what he wrote in the letter.

(2) “the young her swap with the older” no, but instead the 1995 ZY finally came back to the present with inevitable fate still happened—ZSS died but peacefully and fulfilled her dreams before she left the world unlike before (meaning ZY successfully changed ZSS messy fate—esp with ZZY, the cheater ex bf). (3) “how he remembered their love in 1995” again, just like what QM wrote in the letter, for years, he was waiting for 1995 ZY to be back in 2025—how did he remember? bec it was in the past, it ALREADY happened, so while those things was happening in the past, their memories in the present was changing too, thus he remembered, that’s why he had been taking care of little ZY hoping one day the 1995 ZY (who had been with him) will be back (and she did) and again, reminder that he was the only person who has a memory of Zhuang Yan’s existence.

RIGHT?!!?!?! i only noticed that lots of us like Yunjae, and Yunjae for Hyunjun but the way Hyunjun is acting now made me doubts for our hopeful endgame 😭
