agree. I feel like the FL reactions are pretty realistic. You got a phone call about something with the person you're flirting with, but you have yet to confirm your relationship, while still feel upset about the news. It's natural for her to pull away in those moments and think about it then get over it the next day. It's not realistic to just move on and do everything right the first time.

I agree. I'm so on her side for this. The look on his face says it all. When the little brother asked about it again at the hotel balcony, the way he said it emphasized on where he priorities the issue, first is who caused Su Tian's death? second is Min Hui maybe/ probably/ surely is innocent. Couple argue is normal, but do you often suspect your ex-gf capable of murder? He totally deserves her cold shoulder.

Within one conversation one person speak Cantonese, one person switch back and forth between Cantonese and Mandarin and another one randomly speak both and using English at the same time... it's so very distracting to me. This Wu Xie is such a nag, half of his lines in the show was telling Fatty to shut up. The same Fatty from previous season was more annoying this time. That is to say even good acting can't cover up bad screen writing.

I think it's unfair to say she didn't fight for him the 8yrs they were friends. The show simply didn't show their history very much other than she's devoted to him while he blindly chase after Fei Er just to be a backup. And then on the day that the confession came out he left without a word to go oversea with FeiEr, leaving her a laughingstock among the classmates. When they met again he demanded apology and she was the one to bring everything out in the open, telling him about the video etc. The second time is with the business and his father's passing. Both times could have been easily resolved by a simple text message asking her to wait. I think SXQ has a habit of going radio silence here. I just could not understand how you could keep secret about your dad's passing to your gf. The funeral is full of strangers but the one girl his dad approved off isn't there. This is just bad writing! But from HXR POV, how do you recover from it? In these later episodes when he's back in Wusu, it's easy for us viewers to feel for him with his cute sad puppy face, but it does take some strength from her side to not jump into this relationship again for the exact reason she said.
I feel Lin Zhong deserves a better ending than being paired with Chen Fei Er.🧐
I don't mind FL with scheming or opportunist personality but I think Chen Fei Er crossed the line for me as she's using her two bffs - the only two that truly cares for her wellbeing. I sympathize her though, her family is trash of the society, which is why I thought she should treasure XSQ and HXR friendship more but she ended up treating them the same way her parents treat her. I wish there are more drama with smarter FL that do not get drowned in romance tropes and turn stupid half way through the show.
