I did read the novel starts with jaehees chapter 1 : going to jaehees wedding she is young(nam yoonsu character) best friend who was his roommate back in college they developed a friendship after she caught him making out w some random dude on campus they on campus they the same guy who keeps bothering young outside their apartment they shared everything together family problems guy drama jaehees chapter brings the light to women’s issues in a patriarchal society They both are sassy and antisocial Ch2 focus on young’s situationship with an older guy and his relationship w his mother they met during some class he took he was 37 young was 25 this relationship was toxic af the guy was cold and young was obsessed with him he would leave his mother who had cancer in the hospital just bc he called for him in the middle of the night ch3 young’s life after military he’ meets his long term boyfriend who’s bartending in a gay club Last chapter in the novel Ch4 young’s recalling his past lover while he hooking up with some rich guy
