people in the reviews rating it either 1 star or 10 stars after only the first episode is craazy to me. at least the bad reviews will tell you their reasoning, but the 10 stars will be like: "well-- it couldve been worse, i like that this actor that I follow is on it" lmaoo thats why every bl rating is just between seven and eight, ppl just be giving pity ratings
what a weird first episode?? x's intentions are clear, but in the most annoying, kinder garden crush type of way. by the comments im sure the rest of the story is lovely, but my toes are curling from cringe
there's a lot of texting going on damn and none of it is particularly important either lol maybe use all that time to build up the relationship a little more so it doesnt go from first meeting to "I like him" so abruptly
I'm enjoying the show, but i hate the concept of having the groupnames "hidden". every time i watch i need to have a diagram of each group's name and their hour cuz like girl, nobody learning who tf is in 16:00. and its not just unnecessarily complicated, its not even that important, cuz they have the judges like "oh you came from pdx101", "oh that group just did a bap song and you're from that group", and the groups are openly posting about the show on the sns, so why dont just get rid of that and let VANNER fully enjoy the hype
i want to like this, but it's kinda upsetting how stake-less the plot is-- they like each other, and sure, they miss the timing the first time (even that part is questionable), but there is no reason why they couldn't be together any time between those seven years. like at least introduce a romantic rival, something to justify having more than one episode
Wait how come the rating is only 7.9. People stop underrating korean bls.
nah its just that people overrate everything else. 7.9 would be a very solid rating everywhere else, but here most of the media gets lost between 7.0 and 8.5
started watching bc of karam on peak time. i was not expecting a complete 180 from what he shows on stage, i gagged a bit. leo's character kinda made me cringe a little (i've only watched the first ep), could someone tell me if he's like a villain or sumn? cuz from what i've seen, he's not really a love interest
it is time to retire this series. two flops in a row, and it lost the charm about having multiple short stories in one season. we'll even forget 4 and 5 ever happened to protect its reputation
i know it must be hard to squeeze a 40 chapter webtoon into seven 20 min. episodes, but damn, they got rid of almost the entire plot lmao. honoring the original meaning of yaoi
oh? i actually liked the last scene? i was already rolling my eyes with most of the final episode with that attempt at a villain (if we can call it that) and the divine intervention or whatever that was, but an open ending is actually a nice detail to stand out in a sea full of kdramas dumbing down the story becase they don't trust their audicences will enjoy anything other than cliches
for everyone asking: it has no sense of identity, it wants to be so many things at once, yet it comes short in all of them. the time travel setup gets burried between all of the storylines they try to follow; the main character has no personality and is basically a self insert character; it wants to be sex-positive, yet feels like an incel coming of age at times; and of course, it falls into the trend of shoving sexual scenes for bait where there are not needed, but it sucks at them too cuz they're not even sensual, funny or even interesting to look at. so the final product is just a show that wants to keep everyone happy, but fails to be memorable. but thats just my opinion
