I'm pretty sure a character will bid us farewell soon.Extreme Makjang now! That's why I keep reminding myself…
This drama is a trainwreck but honestly? I'm invested in the story, even tho it's a hot mess lol I see why MBC keeps hiring this writer (and extending her dramas) because for better or worse her dramas get people talking ๐ญ
I do wonder what the original plan for the story was going to be, like before the extension.
Ya I didnโt get that whole hongju revealing the secret bit I kept waiting for a reason she did it but it never…
It happens sometimes... In the daily drama Queens House a new character showed up at like... Episode 80 out of 100. Sometimes it happens if the writers change (probably won't happen here since the writer has a long established relationship with MBC smh)
Dracula is a fitting nickname lol I kinda want to see the actor in a horror drama now as a vampire. I think you're onto something regarding Kanghyuk killing / harming Nambong being the wake up call for Junho.
Not only does Dongseok need to show up but so does Baekho's biological family... Interesting how the writer introduced Baekho having a habit of rubbing his ear only for him to never actually do it again after that scene lol
Sukhee being the chairmans daughter is a ... choice. I'm actually not a fan of that twist tbh ... I think the writer may have written herself into a hole with this because if your theory is correct ... Jangmi and Baekho would be related... Right? ๐ญ
Not Hongju acting like Youngja randomly found out about the Hwayoung-Junho relationship when she was the one who exposed it to Youngja in the first place?? ๐ญ
Chairman standing on business... he matched Hwayoung's energy. I had to laugh at her signing the blank power attorney. You really think you can get shit (especially relating to finances and stocks) past a chaebol patriarch? I just have to laugh!!
Junho continues to be creepy towards Jangmi, Seorin sees it and gets triggered. She'll assume the worst instead of you know, asking her sister. Or noticing that Jangmi wasn't exactly looking at Junho lovingly when she PUSHED HIM AWAY. You know... Junho can't stand Seorin but I think it's because they are so alike.... both have one-sided inferiority complexes towards their siblings. Both act forceful towards the person they like, both need to learn the meaning of "no, I'm not interested". Both are being manipulated by Hwayoung... I can't believe Junho is choosing Hwayoung who literally abandoned him over the family that supported him through LEUKEMIA. Pull of blood be damned!
Speaking of Hwayoung I nearly gagged watching Hwayoung and Nambong's "date". And the endgame now being Nambong Hwayoung and Junho as a happy family?? โ๐พ๐ญ THAT'S ENOUGH. I can't believe I'm typing this BUT... I need Dracula to stand TF up and get Nambong out the picture whether that's a civil method or a ๐ฅBEAT DOWN๐ฅ. Actually I prefer the latter because IMO Nambong is the most rage-inducing character in this show. Watching that would be cathartic.
Did anyone notice how when Jangmi and Chairman left the house, she was wearing white but somehow changed into black clothing by the time they got the cementary?
Preview : we've officially arrived in CLOWN WORLD. Hwayoung is going to join Jangmi's team at work... as her subordinate (???). Meanwhile, we're getting closer to the reveal that Sukhee is the chairman's daughter. I personally think this is going to trigger Hwayoung into harming Sukhee.... because direct descendant takes priority over an in-law when it comes to the succession battle. Baekho and Jangmi get the chairman's approval for their marriage (bet it won't go through until the end of episode 140 tho ๐ถ) and Hongju and Junho are shaking.
Now we've reached the fork in the road as all dailies that get extended arrive to: you can either 1) introduce new characters and subplots to keep things fresh or 2) start making your existing characters do stupid things and run the plot in circles until the last 5-10 episodes. Looks like TFM is opting for the latter....
๐ all over a loser whoโs repulsed by her who sheโs had 0 dates with
I had no idea about the YouTubers, that's horrible. And I remember the recent news story about the guy breaking into the actress Nana's house, got subdued by her and her mother, then he tried to sue THEM for assault?! Took me by surprise he could even do that,
Jang Mi and Seo Rin grew up in completely different environments and that impact shows in the construction of…
Your explanation of why Junho idealizes Jangmi is good. You make his motives make sense... Better than what the writer is trying to convey. I hate how he went from 0 to 100 in the worst possible way ๐
As for Baekho, there was a scene where Youngja and Nambong were reminiscing about their past... I don't remember the exact episode number but it was definitely before Youngja found out about the affair... But after Hwayoung had Ssangkal killed in prison (thus scaring Nambong off for a little bit) but they were talking and Youngja was like "I'm happy we could adopt because we couldn't have kids" or something to that effect. If I had to guess Baekho was probably adopted as an infant so in his mind those are his birth parents... And Junho was a little bit older because he remembered his name being changed upon adoption.

They do not.... look into sasaeng fans if you want to see just how non-existent Korean stalking laws are. These are the "fans" that break into idols dorms, sell private information and the craziest story I've heard is when fan acquired the same minivan an idol group would travel in with the intention of kidnapping the idol group and doing God knows what with them!
Yes! I love Hwayoung-Yeongja verbal and physical fights. Yeongja is decisive and proactive when triggered. She…
I think ... since the murder attempt and kidnapping took place in 1995, the statue of limitations would've run out. I looked it up and as of 2015 SK abolished the Statue of Limitations for murder... But attempted murder is still 25 years. Kidnapping of minors is 10 years.... at this point Hwayoung fears social punishment more than legal punishment
I think Hwayoung will probably commit another felony before the drama ends and that's how we'll get our Sukhee Hwayoung courtroom showdown

I think the chairman collapsing might be what gets her going? Or something happens to Sukhee. My prediction is that Hwayoung is going to do something to silence Sukhee and she ends up in a coma, a head injury. However this leads to Sukhee waking up with her memories....
Hwayoung has met her match with Youngja and I love it lol although I have to wonder what will happen with Junho. Will he move out of the Kang household due to the massive conflict of interest going on?
As many times as a basket case needs it to happen apparently ๐ I donโt care that sheโs been your gf all…
I think Hongju did it because she's trying to form a positive relationship with Youngja (since she thinks she's going to be her future MIL lol) either way "Junho is actually Hwayoung's son" was the shot heard around the world lol
Junho doesn't care about what happens with Seorin, his endgame is ending up with Jangmi and/or having Hongju get with Baekho... although Baekho isn't going to magically fall in love with Hongju either lol
Not the soup kitchen ๐ญ feels like these episodes are going to be the calm before the storm (the chairman collapsing and Hwayoung running unchecked)
No fr.... Lee Seungyeon playing the FL.... sign me up
I hate how it seems like the MBC dailies that aired before 2014 are lost media ๐ because between this, Dangerous Woman and An Angel's Choice I don't know which one I want to watch the most ๐ญ
I'm jealous of Apple TV japan users since they have access to all of them (yes, including scarlet letter)
I am clearly not in the target audience for this Junho vs Baekho love vs obsession subplot... how many times are they (Baekho/Junho & Jangmi/Junho) going to have the same damn conversation lol.
Nothing about Junho's obsession with Jangmi is romantic and I find him very creepy, touching on Jangmi like that. I low-key felt uncomfortable watching lmao??? Hongju ain't shit either for playing along with this scheme but I can't complain too much as I wanted her to get messy ๐คฃ I also enjoyed seeing her being the one to expose Hwayoung and Junho's relationship to Youngja..
Not surprised that Chairman isn't keen on Sukhee however he can only blame himself. This will inevitably lead to conflict and angst when it gets out that Sukhee is Eunhye.
Seorin teaming up with Hwayoung.... pretends to be shocked. Path of least resistance when it comes to this extension lol. I feel like she will regret it eventually. As for Youngja... she truly has Hwayoung's number and honestly? Youngja vs Hwayoung is my favorite subplot rn. I LOVE how she ripped the bandaid off and revealed the Hwayoung-Junho relation to the chairman!!
Insert Nambong hate comment here. He's not even worth the effort lol
Preview: Junho faces the consequences for being Hwayoung's son and Hwayoung decides to get even by threatening to expose the chairmans slush fund and he's NOT folding "want to bet on who gets the longer prison sentence?"
I remember watching this years ago on youku with Chinese subtitles (which I understood about 50% of... since I…
From what I remember this was centered around 3 girls. In the past they were classmates. Jooyun was the "bystander" character who grew up to become a teacher and her students had their own school violence situation which gave her memories of an incident in middle school...
Oh Ahyeong was a transfer student from the countryside. Her name wasn't always Oh Ahyeong either ... Her name was originally a traditional Korean name (her peers made fun of her for having a "countrified" name) but the ring leader of these bullies was Sojung who was like ... the rich girl.
Eventually Ahyeong snapped and cut Sojung in the face with a metal ruler or similar sharp object. As adults, Sojung is a tour guide, still physically scarred by Ahyeong. While Ahyeong is mentally scarred and in some sort of mental hospital. Joo Yun helps them reconcile. I'll have to see if I can find this (hopefully with English subtitles) and rewatch it again.
I remember watching this years ago on youku with Chinese subtitles (which I understood about 50% of... since I took Chinese in school lol and there wasn't any site that had this with English subs) and it's a pretty harrowing story of school violence ... but I liked it because it showed the ripple effects into the character's adulthood. There were also multigenerational parallels
I do wonder what the original plan for the story was going to be, like before the extension.
Who do you think will be written out? ๐

Also I'll always appreciate how much more opulent the chaebol mansions looked in dailies in the late 2000s/early 2010s. The Kangs house is NICE
