You're right! I got confused because this is the first drama I've seen in a while where the FL is the villain

Currently on episode 60
-The kidnapping could've been written better - making things happen off screen is an example of lazy writing. The actual kidnapping itself came out of nowhere, it honestly felt like I was watching Taechang have a mental break. I get Juryun being apprehensive since that's her dad, but director na telling Taechang he'll keep his crime under wraps? Someone tell the screenwriter we don't negotiate with terrorists 😭
-No offense to the actor (I'm sure he's doing the best he can with the material given) but watching Seolah and Juryun fight over Woojin is like watching two people fight over a car with three wheels. The drama over the ring cemented this for me lol. It doesn't help that both relationships (Juryun/Woojin and Seolah/Woojin) were poorly written
-does anyone actually enjoy the love triangle? I thought we were doing something when Juryeon broke up with Woojin but they got back together... and it looks like Woojin is back to caring about Seolah in the ep 61 preview. You can't see me as I type this, but I am rolling my eyes
-Seolah is the most fragile and passive female lead I've seen in a daily drama. Her monologues about getting revenge fall flat. She started ranting about how Juryun's family makes her addicted to revenge... My response? Sure Jan!
-Even though the story is billed as Seolah getting revenge, I honestly feel like Sunae is running the revenge show, and Seolah is just a pawn in her game
-juryun learning about her parents sins and (slowly) turning against them may be what the story needs to move forward

Seems like the story is going in circles for the time being. Now catch up to the current episode....

My theory is Jeongins death is how the series ends but I hope I'm wrong lol

She was too young to remember and I believe Jeongin moved her in after they killed off Seolah's dad. (I remember a scene where young Seolah was pissed because she didn't know she was going to get a sister lol) According to namuwiki, both Seolah and Juryun were both born in 1991!

I consider juryeon to be a sub villain. The main villains are Jeongin and Taechang

Don't take my word for it because I'm still behind lol but from where I last left off (ep 57) Juryeon seems to slowly (hopefully) moving away from evil... as she is learning about what her parents did to Seolah's

I usually watch revenge dailies for the revenge but I do love myself a well written romance. That being said, I like the secondary romances better because the writers tend to go through nontraditional stories. While a lot of times the main characters in makjangs don't get together until the very end (due to the story) In this particular drama, I'm hoping that Seokgi and Juryun get together, because of all the couples, they have the most chemistry (in my opinion) lol

This is 100% a drama that I watch for the side characters. The main characters are kinda frustrating to watch because it's a revenge drama but the revenge is a slow burn, heavy on the SLOW lol. As it stands right now, the 2FL's daughter (Juryun) is my favorite lol

So I've been out of the loop because I've been moving but I'll be catching up tomorrow. How's the story going? 👀

It's been a while since I finished this, so I may be forgetting, but two stand out:

-Jaclyn/Seungpil (the 2FL and the 3ML)
-woohyuks mother and a side character (I like this because it's not a ~traditional~ relationship, the two are older adults in their 50s)

Unfortunately this is a show where the side couples really do love each other, but all reach tragic ends because of how evil the ML is.... That being said, the relationships are written really well. If you like tragic romances, you'll like the side couples. Hope that helps!

Yes. Like I haven't gotten to the part where the secret is revealed to the FL, but I feel like when it does, shit will hit the fan. Because not only is the FL looking for answers, but so is the ML (he has his own reasons which I will not spoil!)

If you want a drama where all the characters have secrets, I definitely recommend it!

Adding that to my list! Choi Myung-gil gets an automatic watch for me!

honestly the only thing keeping me watching is the 2FL and her mom lol. The good characters are low-key annoying but the scheme that the 2FL and her mom is pulling is keeping me in

Here are some dramas I recommend where the FL takes a more active role in her revenge:
Gold Mask - FL takes a much active role in her revenge.
Meant to Be - this starts slow since there's a lot of backstory but around the halfway point the FL starts getting her revenge, which she has an active role in. If you can get through all the backstory, this drama is definitely worth it.
Heaven's Promise - the couple the FL is getting revenge on is similar to Woojin and Juryun. I highly recommend this because Lee Yuri plays dual roles here and it's one of my favorite dailies.
Temptation of Wife - older daily from like ... 2008. Starring Jang Seohee and Kim Seohyung this was one of the more famous dailies when it aired because the villainess is crazy lol
Ice Adonis - another Lee Yuri revenge drama from 2012. Highly recommend this one as it's the only daily drama I've watched more than once.
Story of Mermaid: this is probably the longest daily I've watched with just over 200 episodes. Also stars jang seohee and it's similar to snow whites revenge because the FL is also a screenwriter who is getting her revenge by writing a drama, but this one executes the concept better so it's more interesting to watch
Apgujeong Midnight Sun - another longer daily, FL not only takes an active role in her revenge but she's not the typical "bright personality" FL that we usually see in dailies. She's more of an antihero
