Sang Yan here in TFF is the real Sang Yan in Zhu Yi's novel. The one in Hidden Love differed a lot from the novel because they changed his character and made him more playful and comedic when infact his original character isn't like that at all. I read novel btw, and I suggest you read it too if you'd like. Both TFF novel and drama are my favorite.
