I liked this bit I should've learned by now couples involving ghosts (except He's Coming to Me with OhmSingto) never end happily together. I loved that Tommy (Jimmy's Thai ship partner) played Mario. Idk why people were upset by 2 languages being spoken. people like me could understand the Thai but needed subs for Korean. Since this was an early KorThai cross they probably wanted to attract both audiences and represent both languages. Complaining that 2 languages doesn't make sense in a series where you must believe in ghost love stories makes me laugh.
Can you tell me a bit about the plot, please? What is it about?
Sun's father is a mafioso head of a neighborhood. Loves his kids and cares about his community. He owns a boxing gym and Sun wants to be a professional boxer. On his 18th bday Sun's father is murdered by a Korean gangster who wants to traffic drugs in their neighborhood. The Korean gangster has 2 sons, 1 evil, 1 sweet and not meant for that life (Peach). Peach and Sun fall in love before Sun discovers who Peach's father is. There's more to it, but that's the basics.
I've waited for this series and finally, finally it's here. Nor disappointed at all and ooh, a 🔥 daddy! Too bad he dies (not a spoiler since it's the center of the story). It was nice not to have a sedate, mild mannered father. PitBabe is the only other series that gave us a hot older man.
The casting was just meh so if it gets cancelled I wouldn't be sad tbh Bamee was described as a muscular jock…
Boat is not a skinny guy. I'm not saying this angrily, please know that. Maybe the book made him out to be huge, idk, but as far as Thai guys go, Boat is tall and in shape. I hope it doesn't get cancelled.
We knew from the trailer it was going to be spicy and the opening confirmed it. For us spicy BL fans it's great. I have no idea why people are complaining about the NC scenes, you knew not to watch after the first 3 minutes if you prefer the cute fluff (not an insult, I like the fluff sometimes too). I'm hoping the spice doesn't die off over episodes.
I hated the original Ossan's Love. It was only because it was EarthMix that I watched and I was happily surprised by the remake. They kept enough of the original but the Thai touches and twists were perfect.
Did something happen behind the scenes that caused the production to wrap up early? The Series moved at 1 pace then after the surgery it was "let's do all this, wrap it up and shutdown". The main couple was hot in the beginning and lukewarm at the end. None of this was the actors' faults, they delivered with the script they had. I'd hoped to see Petch in Red Peafowl but they say that's canceled, I hope not. These guys deserve another series. And now I'm wary of eating cucumbers😁
Honestly, I could never empathize with Chian or F4M and there came a point where it stressed me out watching them,…
I don't think they were bad people, just simply teens. High school is that time when you're never sure if the person you like likes you, or if they want the relationship as much as the other. Everyone's flirting, everyone is trying to figure out who they are, what friends think and say is a more important than anything else, it's confusing and messy. Sadly, you end up hurting others and getting hurt when no one meant to hurt the other.
I realized after their half of LITA that it would be hard to follow up. Boss and Noeul have wonderful chemistry as we all know, I love their OST, but WTH happened to the script? I haven't read the books so maybe it's clear there. It seemed like this whole build up about the parallel worlds then all of a sudden P'Vir is apologizing, admitting he didn't come from a parallel world (so what were we seeing, and what about the disappearing/reappearing scar?) and it becomes all about the crazy mom. still feel bad for Zone. Also, I would have liked more screen time for the side couple.
