The actors were good. The script - especially the discussion re:top/bottom, I can't believe it went from an authored book to a screenwriter and still so much improvement was needed. I hope the actors get another project to show their talent off that isn't so cringey.
After watching the trailer I'm excited for this. The synopsis made me think it would be nonstop tragedy but although I'll probably cry at some point, it looks fun.
I've liked every Strongberry Release and wish that they had greater financial support. Wonderful casts and script, I was glad to see the return of 2 actors I loved before.
The web browser, Opera, has a free built-in VPN but we still need subs https://www.opera.com/
okay, I set the VPN to Asia and it wouldn't work, it kept saying I was offline. I set it to Optimal location and to Europe and it worked in YouTube. I had to copy and paste the title in Thai. Remember, you cannot sign in to your YouTube account, you have to browse as a guest
I'll be watching. Yes, it's a large cast which makes fitting all the exposition into the 1st episode tricky. I've loved some of the acting from some of the cast (e.g., Willi was phenomenal in Till the World Ends, and Run in Tin Tem Jai, and Beer in When a Snail Falls in Love). I don't think you can judge a series based on 1 or 2 episodes. Even studios that might not always put out the best series can surprise you. The actors, cast, and crew did their best on 8 episodes, I'll give them a chance.
If it's canceled I feel sorry for the actors who were cast and lost an opportunity due to silliness. The US, UK, and Europe have tons of movies with teens in heterosexual relationships and that's fine with inter-fans. Change it to Thai BL and suddenly everyone is "oh no, those are children." No, they are Thai actors, the same ages as Western actors. They auditioned, they weren't abducted and forced into the roles. They are not having sex, they are acting. The characters in the books are in HS. Is Addicted Heroin a more mature themed series? Yes. But actors who wanted the roles, whose families supported them, who auditioned and were found to be the best were cast. Could OffGun or other older actors who still look young do it? Yes. But Addicted is iconic and so are recognizable ships and its hard to mesh those 2 things. You don't have to agree with me, but please remember, all BLs are just acting.
Can we talk about that Xiang Hao Ting in HIStory3: Make Our Days Count was his first main role? He's just amazing!!
I never knew it was his first role! I always point it out as some of the best acting I've ever seen. MODC destroyed me (I should have paid more attention to the title). He deserved an award he was so incredible, his character's grief was palpable.
