I feel like this episode focused on introducing the villain yoon eun seong and his true personality and everything
He seems to enjoy flaunting that he possesses things/people which are desired by others. Example - he kept the dog and didn't gift it to the chairman (unless I missed it). Also, I believe he's pretending to have a "personal confidante" relationship with that businessman that the mall wants to partner with. I agree with you, he has a giant inferiority complex. AND, he's a psycho!
Well dang! Had to take the stairs on this one...elevator AND the escalator were broken. I got on this Struggle Bus for Dai and I'm hoping his next projects are better!
they were building up so much for the bed scene throughout the show to not show it at all in the end🤡 guess…
IKR?!!!!! AND they're doing a blurry fade away on the kisses now.
I miss the electricity and sexiness of Forever Love couple. I would lose my mind every time Chen Fang Tong sashayed away with her short sexy self. Add Dai...total loveliness. However, this current drama's FL is pretty wooden and conveys discomfort during the intimate scenes.
I wish we had oriental medicine at uni so I could guess the poison bcs how does the poison work???? My bet is…
It's puzzling. I though maybe it was fast acting on the former king because she put it in an open wound. Ugh! Maybe it's inert and activated by saliva...king licks his lips. Or, the king brothers have some bizarre genetic allergy. Idk.
Shin Sae Kyung has only 2 expressions in this drama. Staring wide eyes or crying wide eyes. 😂
At first, I didn't like her character here, but I'm disappointed in her acting/portrayal of the character. That, and the way in which directors accept/nurture her limited performance.
I loved this episode soooo much. I was happy to see the main leads FINALLY have an open and honest conversation…
Exactly! He's such a meticulous character and I can't wait to see him attempt to allude accountability and bring his whole network down. This dude is straight off the pages of "The Art of War." His strategies, plus the moments of cartoon character glee make me giggle though!
I think when Hyun lost his memory, the Ak Hee personality was lost too.
I can't wait for all that to be revealed. Maybe we'll see 2 heads on the chopping block...queen (for r@ping the guard) and the "no relation" brother!!!!
yes, it appears to be a toxic relationship. I was at one point wondering if he would give up his kingship, but…
I've seen Bae DooNa do a bare face quite frequently for some of her roles. It may have a lot to do with acting skills and confidence. I can only imagine how hard it must be to try to achieve an unrealistic beauty standard.

To me, the FL in this drama has on too much makeup when she's portraying the male version. Unlike Park Eun Bin in The King's Affection, who looked out of place when she was dressed as a woman in that drama.

Frankly, I was more interested in the blossoming parent child relationship between the queen and the prince than that of the two leads.
I agree, vanity can't be suspended but beliefs are readily suspended.
