There are plenty of the younger man and older woman tropes especially in c dramas and they often ended up "taking" care or protecting the FL. A lot of the times, the guy shows more maturity as well. Especially since the character is a single dad, it really could've made sense. Either way, I still enjoyed the 1st Ep.

I'm really liking this drama so far but I think that the character description of the ML is a bit off. They keep saying that he was married young, had a kid young and divorced young... that he was the "first" for everything including parental leave. That he did everything in his 20s. But the actor looks at least in his 40s not in his late 20s or early 30s. So why didn't they cast a younger actor and do like a "noona" romance? Or don't say that he was young when he got married or whatever. His daughter is what? 7 or something years old? They could've just described him as a divorced, single dad. It reminds me of Crash Course in Romance where the FL was supposed to be this "young looking" mother, (though she was really an aunt), but the actual actress looked "old". The actress was actually 50 years old.

It's unfortunate that he didn’t leave his former job by choice but was targeted and then wrongfully dismissed. I agree though that everyone gawking at him is a bit much but it seems like all the kdramas are doing this now. The ML always getting those, "OMG he's so hot!" looks. It's getting more and more common in kdramas these days. It's a double standard though because they don't do that too much for female leads because then that would be men objectifying women.

This whole shake up with kicking her out seems way too easy. Wouldn't she have a lot of stock invested in the company she help build? Even her husband should have some stocks. Anyways, it just seemed so easy to oust her without any legal battle. And why did the company let ML's mother borrow that much money when he hasn't even debuted yet?

The actor who plays her son looks like a young version of Song Joong-ki.

I know, she's already buying him a sock factory but is that what her son wants to even do?

Yes, I did but I still don't understand why they have to make him a doppelganger. I think it's probably going to help her in the end. Maybe she'll be able to play off the story that she "looks" like Goodeoki and those two guys showing up will prove the theory.

Have they shown the first scene that happened in the first episode yet? I'm assuming it's not going to be until the near the ending episodes? How many episodes will there be?

I just started watching this and I don't understand why they made the love triangle so complicated? Like we're already dealing with Ok Tae Young, the FL, leading a double life but then the ML is a doppleganger of her first love? That's so annoying. So complicated. I like the actress but I think she looks too old for the character she's playing.

What's the hype with this okder teacher? He doesn't seem to suit the teacher's type anyways hut then again, she likes anyone. He's too father-figurish.

He never blamed her for his parents death. He clearly told her that in the earlier episodes. I think he really crushed on her in the beginning. You can see when they first met at the foster home that he kept looking at her as a crush and even when she was practicing piano, he stayed in the same room as her. So I think he looked at her more than just an adopted sister. But then when his parents died, she tried to become head of the family which made it more difficult for him to accept her that way. He kept trying to push her away. But at least he found a brief love overseas even though it was with that evil witch. But I'm wondering if he got close to her knowing she was the Chairwoman's niece. But it seems like they did love each other.

I just started watching "Miss Granny" and the grandson Ji-Ha is the same actor who plays the ML in this drama.

Yes, but at least in Miss Night and Day, she was actually younger and turning older so it made sense for her younger version to have some romance. But here it's the other way around.

Yeah, I think I'm going to watch Miss Granny first to see if I want to invest in watching this.
