When is MDL going to stop allowing people to write reviews before dramas have ended. Like the reviews posted above…
I definitely agree! I was curious of the semi high reviews and then seeing everyone in the comments hate it. I dropped the show and I never review things I drop but REVIEWING something based on half the episodes or even less grind my gears. Most of us agree this show plummeted during/after ep 3
I understand the romance and small town is needed to change the FL. But that's not the issue. The issue is the overreacting male lead. He's already judging the FL and overreacting to news on the Internet about her. I know the misunderstandings are going to irk me and I just don't have the patience for that. So I'll be dropping.
I lasted until ep 15. Cute premise and show but ML is on my nerve. His whining and begging for FL attention when she's just doing her job and expecting her to live up to what he wants is exhausting. He really is just a rich boy living off two women's hard work
It's still early for me. On ep 8 but I think I might finish this xianxia. They all have been boring and repetitive to me this year so I haven't finished one but this one is so unique. I also like that the FL isnt "stupid" for no reason but stupid because she's not from there so she's literally learning as she goes.
I stopped watching at ep 22 once Lulu came around and fast forwarded. I was reading hints of sadness and script change in later eps. I skipped to ep 36. I'm glad I didn't see the in betweens and only read about it. It allowed me to cherish the first half. This is why is stay away from Republican era dramas cause I don't need the overly sad stuff.
It's your typical love triangle J drama. Nothing new here. But good for if you want something mindless to watch/just need a simple store line to follow. Good show to turn your brain off too.
This show is amazing. It's especially good when you don't listen to others/read comments and enjoy the show for yourself. It's a tad slow at times, but I get it. She has a thousand secrets so building trust for these secrets to come out takes time.
I preferred this over the Korean. I enjoyed the Korean very much. Neither one is bad but I think I prefer the overall tone and cinematography of this. Plus the themes of the story in general are what J dramas excel in.
Can't wait to see if they will make a Thai drama out of this!
kinda annoyed at how it took them 10 years to get engaged lol... yall went through all that, what took you so…
You have to remember most of these decisions had to balance out perfectly to the original story line. Key events had to happen regardless of who was involved or fate got angry. They had to wait ten years to start their new lives cause they had to follow fates rules. Those ten years did not belong to them. Only the time after 2025 did.
See y'all at the end of the month. I don't watch shows that are airing. Blame Rebel Princess for that. I usually start when there's about 4-5 episodes left. But I'm super excited to watch!
I know some don't like the ML and his age. but look at the predicament the FL is in. Very few men her age would be able to help her or put up with situations. It makes sense for her to be willing an older man. He has connections and more knowledge to get her out these situations
I dropped it. Very cliche drama. I love cliches but it just felt like I've seen this before. Down to the main and side characters. Alot of them have been casted in other youth dramas before.
Coroner's Diary and now this! Saving us from a lackluster of Historical dramas. Waited for a year for Coroner's Diary and well worth the wait. It'll be two years for this show! So I know it'll be amazing!!
Also, just want to comment that I appreciate that there's no unnecessary deaths. Alot of recent dramas kill off main characters for shock value. All evil died and anyone just survived.
I also like that the FL isnt "stupid" for no reason but stupid because she's not from there so she's literally learning as she goes.
