I'm still surprise that there are still people who understand the family dynamics in Asian families. It is very uncommon in such setting for a child to go against its parents wishes. Culturallyy, Asian families traditional in the sense that even if it is hard for the offspring, the child still follow his/her parents. Asian kids rebel, yes, but it is unspoken rule that as long as you live in their house you follow their rules. This is strictly observed in wealthy family whose reputation needs to be kept unblemished. So yes, do not expect Saint to go against his father this early in the story. But all things breaks if its reached the fracture point.
Ice is benefiting from Warm, what is the is perhaps filling the void left by Saint.
The trope of the uncleared reason for leaving will be the turning point of Saint and Ice relationship.
And until now, I can't get over Tae's transformation.
Love the Leon reference. Okay, this will definitely show my age.
Leon: The Professional (1994) was a film about a hitman who relunctantly took in Mathilda until it reached to a point where their relationship is like father-daughter, mentor-protege, teach her the art of assassination. During gunfights, Leon always brings the plant with him. While he doesn't wear a suit and a tie, he wears something gives off the same vibes. And it doesn't stop there, it came to a point that Mathilda eventually took care of the plant. Much like Jae Ho taking care of Gamdong.
The story is short, good for those with short attention span. Sweet.
Implied context, they meet online through most likely a gay dating app which quick hook-up is not uncommon. In fact, a lot uses it for a release their pent up libido.
I don’t comment a lot but I must write that this series is exceptionally good , so well done - with one exception…
That is what required for the character of Khemjira. Having the titular role, the actor should embody the character, on point.
For someone who sees ghost since young, it should be understandable that he is recluse, stoic as he doesn't want to be ridiculed and bullied. He cannot show a full facial expression as people around him, not Jet and Charn, will be curious why he is so afraid when he sees ghosts. Along that line, when people think he is dazed, he is actually processing in his mind what he is seeing, hence, emotionless. Once he is able to process the situation, his facial expression actually changes though very subtle if you are really looking for it. Lips witching and biting, when his brows wrinkle, and when his eyes get wide.
The fact that you acknowledged he changed when he was possessed means that moment requires that expression.
Did you miss also his expression when Peem is being attacked at the last episode and how happy he is after the curse was lifted?
These two, Sea & Keen, is creating their own "brand" of ship. There's something unique with their pairing that is not cast in a mold. It is as if that they are the only ones who can do those kind of interaction. Something that I cannot put words to it.
Dang! They become more and more comfortable in acting! One can clearly see how Sea is delivering his lines so naturally and fluidly. And Keen is consistent matching that of Sea's.
Looks like Keen is doing the dirty finger IRL that often LOL
What admirable thing that the production team did is that they didn't cut corners. Every scene, every action or lack of is deliberate to amplify the emotion of the characters. For the viewers to be in the moment, to empathize what each character is feeling and going through.
The reunion makes me melancholic. But Grandma Si... YOU ROCK!
The plot twist I didn't see coming. "What you really want?", my answer was "my son" and little did I know...
WHAT A CUTE FAMILY!!!!
The perfect ending quote of the series; "Bound by fate, kept by love, strengthened by never giving up."
For me, this is the type of series where I enjoy the journey than the destination. I'm interested on how the ending will be and not what the ending is. Ending not only for Ramphueng, but also Peem-Khem, Jet & Charn.
I'll be watching the finale episode with zero expectation other than Ramphueng being vanquished. I know people will have different taken on what her ending should have been or supposed to be, but the ending is always in the POV of the creators of the series.
But like what I said, it is the journey to the ending what I enjoy the most about this series.
The quirkiness I love the most! It seems that Watarai have a thing for Hioki for a long time already that is why given the chance, he set a border around Hioki.
Hioki is the cute one and among the four, I like Hotta the most. Visually and personality. To each his own.
Ice's life wasn't just a lemon that was thrown at him, it was a truckload!
I didn't expect what happened in the past will be given this early.
We can now clearly see the main conflict in the story, and how Ice will redeem himself. But for me, it has been always the journer that matters more than the destination. As for Saint, this is typical specially in Taiwan/Chinese BLs that it will towards the end of the story that will have the courage to stand their ground. It is not uncommon for Asian family to follow their parents wishes as this is apparent even in het series.
So much for friends that should guard yet did a night walk. LOL
For the longest I am trying to think who FirstOne looks like... Frank Thanatsaran. Especially when he is holding his smile much like Frank!
Yep, another week of waiting for the climax of the series. The question now is, will episode 11 ends in a cliff-hanger or episode is the resolution of the story?
The upcoming Thai live-action series "Given" is titled "Under Classroom Talent Thailand". The cast includes: PunPun…
Curious, looks like Classroom Talent is the talent agency for the Thai-adaptation of "Given", is that the reason why the perceived title "Under Classroom Talent Thailand"? Meaning the cast members are coming from Classroom Talent and not the actual Thai title?
Normally I do not compare remake/adaptations and took them separately, but...
they better not ruin this... The Japanese live-adaption is the very first JBL that I really really like when Sanari sings his heart out in acapella. Though it was compressed and may seems to others that production cut corners and yes, there are some that were under explained but over-all, I very much like it.
I'm in shock as this a gut wretching episode. Never anticipated how hard this will be emotionally... After that throwing in the river, it was an endless stab to the heart and I thought it will end at the cremation ceremony. Oh boy I was so wrong!
I commend Fourth for taking this project. An issue so controversial and fans/viewers cannot distinguish fiction and real life.
Based on the trailer, he will definitely deliver and wishing him for an award. But I'm apprehensive as not everybody is receptive and open-minded with the topic.
This show will definitely be a morality on a head-on collision with philosophy with love at the center. Love in spiritual, romantic and the root, familial concept/context
GMMTV better be prepared to protect their artists.
Excerpts from ChatGPT:
"Can morality exist without philosophy? In practice, yes. Many cultures and individuals live by moral codes passed down through religion, tradition, or custom, without formally studying philosophy. But those moral codes are still shaped (implicitly or explicitly) by philosophical ideas.
Can philosophy exist without morality? Philosophy can discuss logic, metaphysics, or epistemology without touching morality. But if philosophy completely ignored morality, it would leave out one of its most essential concerns—how to live well."
Basing popularity on tags can be inaccurate as one series can have multiple hashtags and they will be counted…
What I was trying to say for the 10M tags as it may be a combined of multiple hashtags for 1 intended for just one. After all, hashtags are created to gain attention, thus people will talk about it, and eventual be popular.
this is insaneAfter explosive ep 8, the tags trended to about ~3M only (7 is misleading)..What blows my mind is…
Basing popularity on tags can be inaccurate as one series can have multiple hashtags and they will be counted separately.
What circulating is that the tag #เขมจิราต้องรอดEP8 has 3.7M and the #KhemjiraTheSeriesep8 has 3.4M for a total of 7.1M, yet multiple post will have those 2 tags.
Dang Tongtong! I cannot muster the thought of disliking Jet! You're too pretty to be antagonist.
Looks like the ending is that Risa will inherit, Pheem will get money and run off with Than.

The song played during the first kiss of Peem and Khem:

Keng has an amazing voice. Reminds of Jeff Satur.

Explains why he is zoomed in the character.
I was bawling until Jet's "friendzone"...

Popularity doesn't equate to quality.
