It can be viewed in two ways, in a positive or a negative perspective.
1.) It can be interpreted as counting your days, together, for an inevitable, uneventful event? This has been the dominang theme of Hao Ting and Shi Gu after they got comfortable which each other in the middle of the series. It will make you guess, expect something that will not turn out "happy", but it did. Hao Ting was successful to get into the one of the top university. And just when you thought everything will go on just fine, in week 9, Hao Ting's surprised-worried face will make you doubt about his future with Shi Gu... Is this moment is what they are counting down to? Or is there a light in the end of the tunnel. One glaring and obvious about this couple is they are planning their future, as if they got the details ironed out. And wouldn't be a devastating feeling if it, the planning, is all for nothing?
2.) Or the title can be seen in a positive way... Carpe Diem kind of thing. Make your days count everytime you are together. Live in the moment because when that moment passed by, one can not go back to it. This the best description of Sun Bo and Zhi Gang relationship. They don't care too much about their future as they are happy with what they have at the moment. They have an end game, yes, but they are not too calculating how to get there. A stark contrast to the relationship of Hao Ting-Shi Gu.
Since HIStory 2: Crossing the Line and the start of having 2 BL couples in the series, the title is related to them.
And I will not tag this as a spoiler as my next few lines will be about Crossing the Line and Trapped.
Let me start with Crossing the Line/Boundary Crossing... How is the title related to the relationship of Yu Hao-Zi Xuan and the Wang Zhen step brothers? Yu Hao crossed the line when he kissed Zi Xuan through the net. Same goes for the step brother when they talked on the rooftop. After the crossing of the line, it opened up to a world new world for the two couples.
Meanwhile, in Trapped. All throughout the series... You keep on guessing who is trapping who right up til the end? Did Shao Fei set the trap for Tang Yi to be captured/exposed? Or did Tang Yi is the one that set the trap for Shao Fei to uncover what pestering his gang to be able to turn a new "leaf" and operate a legit business? Is Li An a willing victim to Jack's plan of trap to be taken advantage of hoping to get an info from the police? Or was it the other way around when Li An lured Jack to get intel about the gang? But at the end, all of those does not matter as they were destined to be trapped in a relationship with another.

IF... that's a big IF... Make Our Days Count happened a year or two after Stay Away From Me, it is a big possibility that they are still together. Not unless, Stay Away From Me happened in the senior high years of Cheng Qing and Feng He. But based on facial expression of Cheng Qing, they are together and bother. He and Feng He might having troubles though, that I can sense what they are talking, Cheng Qing and Shih Gang. And their conversation tells me that it was Shih Gang's help that either (1) helped their family accepts Cheng Qing is with Feng He or (2) Shih Gang pretends that he is the one who is in relationship with Feng He for their family and Cheng Qing's fans.

Chen QIng is an artist in both series and is a related by blood to Shih Gang as obvious to the conversation they had just outside the car. The difference of this connection is this is a real cross-over. Unlike the Jiangs which are mere references and “implied” ones.
Are these breadcrumbs being set for a possible HIStory future project? It can fit 2 stories, first the Jiang family and the second is Shih Gang and Cheng Qing. OR, they will have another set of HIStory stories to connect My Hero in the HIStory universe? After all, both My Hero and Stay Away From Me have the same writer: Yang Yi Hua.

The next Jiang family member is Jian Jin Yang in Crossing the Line and is a member of the volleyball team. There is a conversation between He Cheng En and Qiu Zi Xuan, Cheng En said to Zi Xuan: "Do you remember Jin Yang has a lawyer cousin?". That makes Jian Jin Yang and Jian Jin Teng blood related. Cheng En continues: "He brought his architect boyfriend to see Jin Yang training", according to Adam Uni, after a student graduates from civil engineering, he becomes an architect.
The last member of the Jiang family is Doctor Jiang Jin Tang of Trapped. And how Right or Wrong is connected? Teacher Shi Yi Jie's friend, the one who visited him in his room when his student-turned-to-lover is present, Jian Zhao Peng is Dr. Jiang Jin Tang's love interest. And according to what Adam Uni read, Jian Zhao Peng doesn't know that the doctor is into him.

Tharn having two ex's mean that both of them didn't turn out as expect. And as this point, knowing what Type prejudice against gay is on guard as well. I can't blame him for not disclosing his ex's that what I do in my male bf's, and for the record I am also a man. Not unless it becomes a topic, that the only time I lay down my cards.
As for Type, he is maturing in terms of same-sex relationship. And that's where the difference lies. Tharn already learned the ropes of being in a same-sex relationship while Type is relatively a newbie in that department. Type has a big room for improvement while Tharn a little room to improve.
Before they are official did Tharn changed how he treats Type? He still brings him food. Still worried about Type. Tharn remains consistent while Type is maturing/evolving. That could be the reason why you think Type is better BF than Tharn.
One of gay couple's dream is for their partner to be introduce to the family and friends, let the world knows. Tharn already did that, though accidentally. And ready to shout to the world they are boyfriends. While Type is still in the "closet" and still has fully come in terms with himself that he is dating a man. Let me get to the point and the highlight of the week:
When SBX shows up wearing a shirt with Taz on it, you will thnk that something playful is about to come up, but no, out of nowhere he kneels down in front of YZG and proposed! Damn! I was so surprised.... What stuck in my mind is that SBX wants LZG to be his first and in return LZG's one boyfriend is him. It tells the difference about their experience when it comes to relationships. The young Sun Bo's innocence and willing to give everything. On the other hand, Shih Gang's vast experience taught him to be more cautious when it comes to being in a relationship. Undeniably, LZG welcomes SBX not right away but hesitation until he realize that what SBX is offering is pure love which he didn't feel for a long time.
Going to the main couple... XHT and YZG... The first scene when XHT called YZG and the latter just answered the call and did talk and the persistent XHT just keeps on talking until YZG utter XHT's name repeatedly... When I was feeling the moment, I didn't realize that tears are already falling from eyes. I can feel the pain of wanting to be together but for some reasons you can be together and all you have to be contended with is just hearing each other's voices. The week shows that the core personality of the two of them still with them and as they experience "life" they are both realizing things they thought are not in their vocabulary. The once impulsive and impatient XHT is learning to wait. And the lonely YZG is starting to be more involved in caring and loving XHT which he thought he lost it when his parents died. One is redefining himself while the other is rediscovering what he lost.
Now the scene in the cafe... When XHT holds YZG's hand and their friends and the lady server jaws dropped is another priceless moment of the week. It shows that their love is manifesting subconsciously which is obviously a good one since when it comes to love you let your actions do what it wants and carelessly not to think.
Is it wrong to say that me and XHT's assumption that Sun Bo is the bottom? That is why I can't stop laughing! And every time Sun Bo is reminded of that intimate encounter, he looks like he is in cloud nine.
Now, it is making more sense the title "Make Our Days Count"... The question remain, are they counting the days that they are together? OR, they are counting the days before they move to another level of the relationship.... Well, 3 weeks to go and based from previous HIStory stories, we have all the sense of fulfillment and a happy one; hoping that this follow suits. But then again, there is always a frist for everything, will this be the first one though?

Second is how review Week 7 in the "Reveal Spoiler" part.
I think there is a lesson to be learned in Ep 2... If you are not aware, there are videos in YouTube and even news that shows how dirty a hotel room is from China to the USA.
One should know that a housekeeper of hotels have around 3 hours to clean the entire hotel's rooms given that the check out time is 11am and the check-in is 2pm... You know what I mean, there is a limited time between the check-out of a guest and the check-in of the new occupants.
That is why, it has become a habit of mine not to throw towels whenever I please so and I wipe dry the bathtub with my used towel. I removed the bedsheet and fold it, same goes for the blanket and comforter I used. So the housekeepers can collect them fast and they can attend to properly tidy up the room.
And I don't drink or use to gargle the glasses in the toilet. For one, the toilet/bathroom is a breeding ground for germs as it is always damp and dark. And second, I am not sure if the glasses were replaced with a really clean one.
We must not forget that the housekeepers are humans too. They get tired, follow a strict time and yelled at by their supervisors. We should what we can to make their work easier. Who knows, what goes around comes back around... And karma is B.
I'll be posting my mid-way through review since it is unlike that I can make a full review before others will post their's. And this won't contain any spoilers what actually happened in the series, it will be more on the assessment of the characters.
After Week 6 (Call it Ep 11 + 12 or Ep 6, but I prefer the week as reference instead of the episode #, simpler and clearer):
Xiang Hao Ting: I love how his character is maturing. A once "invincible" boy showed his vulnerable and soft side. Heeds and seemingly surrendering.
Yu Xi Gu: I adore how his character is evolving. The previously timid and easily scared is manning up so much so that their role, relating to XHT, is reversed at some point.
Sun Bo: The ever naive, innocent and playful one is learning to be patient contrary to the impulsive past of himself.
Lu Zhi Gang: The most mysterious of among the four finally revealed how and why he is what he is today, relative to the timeline of the series. It should give a viewer a better understanding what he went through to be become what he is. And slowly, returning to the "old him".
Pretty much, I like how the story of the series is progressing, not too slow neither too fast. We can see each characters grow right in front of our eyes. And among the 4, only YXG and LZG has a HIStory to tell and it is already told. As for XHT and SB, they always have been an open book with no reservations and pretentions with is a stark contrast to their respective partners. The past has been reveal and I think the next 4 weeks will focus more on their future and of course, some heart-breaking moment for the 2 couples in their current situation.
I love the way "lil sis" and cousin supported their respective "bros" and shows that in this kind of relationship, it helps a lot for the parents not only to approve but more so to accept for it to continue and prosper.

I was so surprised.... What stuck in my mind is that SBX wants LZG to be his first and in return LZG's one boyfriend is him. It tells the difference about their experience when it comes to relationships. The young Sun Bo's innocence and willing to give everything. On the other hand, Shih Gang's vast experience taught him to be more cautious when it comes to being in a relationship. Undeniably, LZG welcomes SBX not right away but hesitation until he realize that what SBX is offering is pure love which he didn't feel for a long time.
Going to the main couple... XHT and YZG... The first scene when XHT called YZG and the latter just answered the call and did talk and the persistent XHT just keeps on talking until YZG utter XHT's name repeatedly... When I was feeling the moment, I didn't realize that tears are already falling from eyes. I can feel the pain of wanting to be together but for some reasons you can be together and all you have to be contended with is just hearing each other's voices. The week shows that the core personality of the two of them still with them and as they experience "life" they are both realizing things they thought are not in their vocabulary. The once impulsive and impatient XHT is learning to wait. And the lonely YZG is starting to be more involved in caring and loving XHT which he thought he lost it when his parents died. One is redefining himself while the other is rediscovering what he lost.
Now the scene in the cafe... When XHT holds YZG's hand and their friends and the lady server jaws dropped is another priceless moment of the week. It shows that their love is manifesting subconsciously which is obviously a good one since when it comes to love you let your actions do what it wants and carelessly not to think.
Is it wrong to say that me and XHT's assumption that Sun Bo is the bottom? That is why I can't stop laughing! And every time Sun Bo is reminded of that intimate encounter, he looks like he is in cloud nine.
Now, it is making more sense the title "Make Our Days Count"... The question remain, are they counting the days that they are together? OR, they are counting the days before they move to another level of the relationship.... Well, 3 weeks to go and based from previous HIStory stories, we have all the sense of fulfillment and a happy one; hoping that this follow suits. But then again, there is always a frist for everything, will this be the first one though?
Can't stop laughing when Hao TIng is asking Sun Bo from some "advice"... Could stop laughing the whole conversation! HAHAHA
Second is how review Week 7 in the "Reveal Spoiler" part.
One should know that a housekeeper of hotels have around 3 hours to clean the entire hotel's rooms given that the check out time is 11am and the check-in is 2pm... You know what I mean, there is a limited time between the check-out of a guest and the check-in of the new occupants.
That is why, it has become a habit of mine not to throw towels whenever I please so and I wipe dry the bathtub with my used towel. I removed the bedsheet and fold it, same goes for the blanket and comforter I used. So the housekeepers can collect them fast and they can attend to properly tidy up the room.
And I don't drink or use to gargle the glasses in the toilet. For one, the toilet/bathroom is a breeding ground for germs as it is always damp and dark. And second, I am not sure if the glasses were replaced with a really clean one.
We must not forget that the housekeepers are humans too. They get tired, follow a strict time and yelled at by their supervisors. We should what we can to make their work easier. Who knows, what goes around comes back around... And karma is B.
After Week 6 (Call it Ep 11 + 12 or Ep 6, but I prefer the week as reference instead of the episode #, simpler and clearer):
Xiang Hao Ting: I love how his character is maturing. A once "invincible" boy showed his vulnerable and soft side. Heeds and seemingly surrendering.
Yu Xi Gu: I adore how his character is evolving. The previously timid and easily scared is manning up so much so that their role, relating to XHT, is reversed at some point.
Sun Bo: The ever naive, innocent and playful one is learning to be patient contrary to the impulsive past of himself.
Lu Zhi Gang: The most mysterious of among the four finally revealed how and why he is what he is today, relative to the timeline of the series. It should give a viewer a better understanding what he went through to be become what he is. And slowly, returning to the "old him".
Pretty much, I like how the story of the series is progressing, not too slow neither too fast. We can see each characters grow right in front of our eyes. And among the 4, only YXG and LZG has a HIStory to tell and it is already told. As for XHT and SB, they always have been an open book with no reservations and pretentions with is a stark contrast to their respective partners. The past has been reveal and I think the next 4 weeks will focus more on their future and of course, some heart-breaking moment for the 2 couples in their current situation.
I love the way "lil sis" and cousin supported their respective "bros" and shows that in this kind of relationship, it helps a lot for the parents not only to approve but more so to accept for it to continue and prosper.
