Let me get to the point and the highlight of the week:
When SBX shows up wearing a shirt with Taz on it, you will thnk that something playful is about to come up, but no, out of nowhere he kneels down in front of YZG and proposed! Damn! I was so surprised.... What stuck in my mind is that SBX wants LZG to be his first and in return LZG's one boyfriend is him. It tells the difference about their experience when it comes to relationships. The young Sun Bo's innocence and willing to give everything. On the other hand, Shih Gang's vast experience taught him to be more cautious when it comes to being in a relationship. Undeniably, LZG welcomes SBX not right away but hesitation until he realize that what SBX is offering is pure love which he didn't feel for a long time.
Going to the main couple... XHT and YZG... The first scene when XHT called YZG and the latter just answered the call and did talk and the persistent XHT just keeps on talking until YZG utter XHT's name repeatedly... When I was feeling the moment, I didn't realize that tears are already falling from eyes. I can feel the pain of wanting to be together but for some reasons you can be together and all you have to be contended with is just hearing each other's voices. The week shows that the core personality of the two of them still with them and as they experience "life" they are both realizing things they thought are not in their vocabulary. The once impulsive and impatient XHT is learning to wait. And the lonely YZG is starting to be more involved in caring and loving XHT which he thought he lost it when his parents died. One is redefining himself while the other is rediscovering what he lost.
Now the scene in the cafe... When XHT holds YZG's hand and their friends and the lady server jaws dropped is another priceless moment of the week. It shows that their love is manifesting subconsciously which is obviously a good one since when it comes to love you let your actions do what it wants and carelessly not to think.
Is it wrong to say that me and XHT's assumption that Sun Bo is the bottom? That is why I can't stop laughing! And every time Sun Bo is reminded of that intimate encounter, he looks like he is in cloud nine.
Now, it is making more sense the title "Make Our Days Count"... The question remain, are they counting the days that they are together? OR, they are counting the days before they move to another level of the relationship.... Well, 3 weeks to go and based from previous HIStory stories, we have all the sense of fulfillment and a happy one; hoping that this follow suits. But then again, there is always a frist for everything, will this be the first one though?

Second is how review Week 7 in the "Reveal Spoiler" part.
I think there is a lesson to be learned in Ep 2... If you are not aware, there are videos in YouTube and even news that shows how dirty a hotel room is from China to the USA.
One should know that a housekeeper of hotels have around 3 hours to clean the entire hotel's rooms given that the check out time is 11am and the check-in is 2pm... You know what I mean, there is a limited time between the check-out of a guest and the check-in of the new occupants.
That is why, it has become a habit of mine not to throw towels whenever I please so and I wipe dry the bathtub with my used towel. I removed the bedsheet and fold it, same goes for the blanket and comforter I used. So the housekeepers can collect them fast and they can attend to properly tidy up the room.
And I don't drink or use to gargle the glasses in the toilet. For one, the toilet/bathroom is a breeding ground for germs as it is always damp and dark. And second, I am not sure if the glasses were replaced with a really clean one.
We must not forget that the housekeepers are humans too. They get tired, follow a strict time and yelled at by their supervisors. We should what we can to make their work easier. Who knows, what goes around comes back around... And karma is B.
I'll be posting my mid-way through review since it is unlike that I can make a full review before others will post their's. And this won't contain any spoilers what actually happened in the series, it will be more on the assessment of the characters.
After Week 6 (Call it Ep 11 + 12 or Ep 6, but I prefer the week as reference instead of the episode #, simpler and clearer):
Xiang Hao Ting: I love how his character is maturing. A once "invincible" boy showed his vulnerable and soft side. Heeds and seemingly surrendering.
Yu Xi Gu: I adore how his character is evolving. The previously timid and easily scared is manning up so much so that their role, relating to XHT, is reversed at some point.
Sun Bo: The ever naive, innocent and playful one is learning to be patient contrary to the impulsive past of himself.
Lu Zhi Gang: The most mysterious of among the four finally revealed how and why he is what he is today, relative to the timeline of the series. It should give a viewer a better understanding what he went through to be become what he is. And slowly, returning to the "old him".
Pretty much, I like how the story of the series is progressing, not too slow neither too fast. We can see each characters grow right in front of our eyes. And among the 4, only YXG and LZG has a HIStory to tell and it is already told. As for XHT and SB, they always have been an open book with no reservations and pretentions with is a stark contrast to their respective partners. The past has been reveal and I think the next 4 weeks will focus more on their future and of course, some heart-breaking moment for the 2 couples in their current situation.
I love the way "lil sis" and cousin supported their respective "bros" and shows that in this kind of relationship, it helps a lot for the parents not only to approve but more so to accept for it to continue and prosper.
A bit confusing... the Mello Thailand app Ep 1 has only 14:29 long... but the web-based link (5 parts) is definitely longer than that. Or I just don't know how to use the Mello TH app since it is written in Thai?

I also expecting nothing less than extraordinary performance from Fluke. After all, this is right in his alley, after My Bromance the movie and Red Wine in the Dark Night. **** Is that one of the twins that Manaow bump into? The one with the glasses? JJ perhaps?
Ep. 3 was very impressive again. But the fact that the boy gave Num the laptop himself seems like a plot hole…
The laptop may be another pilot product that is why delivery is not included. In addition, the boy already bought 3 level 4 gifts to Num but lady luck is on his side. So the kid, the same as Num situation ,can no longer afford a gift with a regular "price" and was forced to buy the discounted pilot product.
Futhermore, the shop owner said to Num: "Although a discounted product it's still a level 4 gift. Once you bought it, you may die very soon." And that what happens to the boy that bought the laptop.
What is more of a plot hole is why Prang did not die. The mere fact that she is standing right beside the laptop when it hits zero, all she got was burns and cuts. So if Num was the one in front of the laptop, he may not be dead as well. Which reinforces that the laptop may be a pilot product, far from a perfect and ideal gift.
Lastly, I was really thinking that Prang will die since knowing that the laptop is a level 4 gift, based on the logo that appeared on the screen it should have been an instant death and was expecting a big bang actually.
"A Gift to the People You Hate", the strongest word in the title: HATE. And if you have seen the trailer, you very aware how dark this series will go.
Psychology aside, what emotion/s hate stem from? Envy? Jealousy? Betrayal? Are the typical sources of hate. Episode 1 clearly shows this.
One can see the similarity with the anime "Death Note", but in this series, it is not outright death that you can delivery to the person you hate. There are levels to choose from. In addition, this series is less supernatural than the anime and in tune more with reality.
