K-Drama A Remake in a Hurry: Copying Everything, Capturing Nothing
Extraordinary Attorney Minamida Minami has one major problem: it wants to recreate the most memorable moments of the Korean original without taking the time to earn them.
Everything moves at breakneck speed. The legal cases, the relationships, and even the romance unfold so hastily that they lack natural progression and emotional development. The famous wedding dress scene, which had charm and meaning with Park Eun-bin, feels like just another item on a checklist of scenes that had to be copied.
And worst of all, Mana Ashida ends up imitating Park Eun-bin's gestures and expressions instead of being allowed to build a character of her own.
It's not that the Japanese remake copies too much. **It copies poorly, rushes through everything, and completely loses the charm of the original.**
Dropped before finishing Episode 2.
