Title The Killer Next Door Spoiler
I thought it was the other way around, but it turned out that the mysterious man next door wasn't the killer.

I like comedic character development. I mean seeing the killer fainted because he's queasy of blood instead of the violent beating of the harasser. It tickles me that a killer has a weak heart.

Anyway, I've only seen the 1st 20 episodes. Waiting for the rest to release to comment further.

Btw, I have no problem with the vertical view of the film. So many good short series have been filmed and released that way. I'm used to them by now. Low budget filming does not mean the story is of low quality. It's not a blockbuster with CG special effects or explosive action movies that require a wide screen viewing from a costly high end filming camera operated by a high salary professional.

Episode 5, the revelation behind the dinosaur toys. πŸ˜† the triceratops got knocked over on A'Tuo's bedside table.

Also, the episode finally shows Junxi's amorous favorability toward A'Tuo but he is still hesitant about PDA.

A'Tuo's ex drunkenly spilled her initial crush on Junxi reveals that A'Tuo past popularity with girls were to block those girls from advancing their interest in Junxi.

πŸ‘» There's nothing scary about horror. 🧟 The zombies, the sound , the power outage, the winds and the surprised tactic have been done. ⚑

Master Peem is too well dressed and pretty to play the village shaman. I'm not complaining, 😍 I just can't get my eyes off him. πŸ’₯ And Jet blissfully received the karma whips was πŸ”₯ πŸ˜‹

It's nice to see the handsome 😍 Tle Matimun Sreeboonrueang again after his main role in Secret Love

🍿 Looking fwd to seeing the rest of the series unfold. πŸͺ„ Will the girly name Khemjira or him being with master Peem break the curse? ✨

This comedy episode is for WSW bonding time with the father-in-law. πŸ˜† The look on CC's father's face when WSW said "father-in-law." I'd love to see how the mother and sister-in-law will accept WSW?
On Revenged Love Aug 8, 2025
πŸ“’ Sorry, I had to fast forward the scene on the back of the truck. 😭 I mean WSW cried so much before that from the kumquat to the Mother's Day poster. WSW made so much noise in episode 20 🎭 up till Sifu Shuai Shuai overheard CC and WSW's schemes. πŸ”Š Whew!

πŸ˜† Can you not pressure me? I need to talk to myself first. Hilarious script.

First episode and he's already kissed two suitors. I'm waiting for him to kiss Jade, a master and servant secret relationship. πŸ˜…

Btw, the first episode is a bit off from the pilot trailer. Not complaining, it's just that I notice it and like the polished rewritten script.

There's a lot more here than the first version and I'm liking it more and more. I shouldn't ship Wang Zhen with Da Wei, but as a Chameleon he is a perfect idol for Wei Wei. 🫢 I enjoy watching their interactions which I deem them more mature than between CC and WSW or between Guo Cheng Yu and Dr. Xiao Shuai.

Nevertheless, I enjoy episode 16. Wang Suo and his brother are handsome, eye candies. Also, this episode is full of dramas, jealousy, schemes, and misunderstanding. Why do I revel in watching Wang Suo being bullied by his brother!? πŸ˜…

Third episode in and they are already dating. The rest will be the drama of maintaining their relationship in secrecy.

Special "thanks" to Xiao Yang and the two little Angel and Devil Junxi for aiding the boys to get together.

Title The Promise of the Soul Spoiler
Finally, Ze Fang comes into the picture as a wandering soul. So is he witnessing what's going on with Hai Yuan interaction with his Grandpa's soul in his body?

Also, the red thread tying the two boys. But is it meant for Hai Yuan and Xia Cha or is it for Hai Yuan and Ze Fang?

Lastly, what does it mean for Xia Cha's dream/nightmares of Ze Fang's childhood or does it tie to Xia Cha's past life with the child having a mole in a similar place as Hai Yuan?

We are at episode 6 which is half way thru the series. Up to this point, I dearly hope that the red thread ties to the souls of Hai Yuan and Xia Cha's past. Perhaps their past lives did not end happily, thus they have another chance to reconnect this time.

I'm saddened by Xia Cha's insistence on Hai Yuan giving Ze Fang a chance. All the while Hai Yuan is drawn to Xia Cha in the body of Ze Fang.

I'm looking forward to the unfold of this drama. TBC 🀞

Side note: I like the new dorm advisor character played by Nelson Ji, formally the bl's ML in Fight for You.

I like it. Two episodes and the drama is moving fast but with precision including the backstory, their childhood days.
On Revenged Love Jul 21, 2025
Episode 13 is all fluff. My eyes got misty when WSW described the vivarium content design for Green-eyed Monster while CC realized his misunderstanding. That sudden mutual embrace nailed it for me erasing all doubt of WSW uncertain feelings toward CC.

I've not enjoyed a good K-bl like this since Cherry Blossoms After Winter (2022). My favorite moments of them are their affectionate love express by hugging and embracing one another. 🫢

I personally like it. I like the story plot though the end game was predictable. I especially like the chemistry between Do Ba Woo and Stalker Ha Min.

Idk if I should recommend Top Form. You'll just have to feel it out from other viewers' comments.
On Something's Not Right May 8, 2025
Lol when Ha Min kicked himself for handing over the guitar and returning the diary to Do Ba Woo. Ha Min lost his chance with Ba Woo now that Ba Woo is officially together with Ji Hoon.

I think it began somewhere between episode 5 or episode 6 when Ha Min reminiscence about Do Ba Woo's faces and conversation with him. I knew then that Ha Min may have developed feelings for Ba Woo. It's just Ha Min's ethical morale kept him from encroaching Do Ba Woo's unrequited love for Ji Hoon.

Because of his ethic, Ha Min did not submit his Webtoon. Darn, I at least want to know how the judges would evaluate his work. At least he got a "thank you" from Do Ba Woo.

It's funny that in the end both Ha Min and his sister ended with the medicine taste of their own unrequited love.

K-BL never disappoints me. Sigh, both this a Business As Usual ended.

I bowed out of the Thai bl series. I did not even get into the highly anticipated Babe 2 and Next Prince. I'll catch up with My Golden Blood and Top Form when they are completed. Sweet Tooth, Good Dentist is the only one I am still watching. SORRY, I'm gay and not a bl fan. There's a difference with different perspectives.

Title Business as Usual Spoiler
Just finished both this and Something's Not Right. They both concluded with happy endings. K-BL never disappoint. Though short they are best at production, plot, script, talents and visuals.

I still like the format that started out with disappointment then turned to misunderstanding. With backstories that cleared the air between the couple, they slowly worked on mending their relationship to achieve happiness.

For me it's not the length of the series but the quality that's worth my time watching it. I've noticed that many are not satisfied with the miscommunication plot. However, it is the root of the problem that generated the drama between the couple. Otherwise there won't be a departure without a word while leaving the other with a heartbreak. Then there would be no need to chase after his first love and meet 8 years later.

Going back to the scene at the clawing machine, that was where they realized their misunderstanding with the tiny cat plushy. There were many misunderstandings besides that instance. The other failure of their previous time together was the compatibility between an extrovert and an introvert. I understand that it's not easy for Min Jun to change his way of overcoming his inferiority. It's good that they could compromise. Jin Hwan checked on Min Jun whether it'll be alright to hang with his friends. At the same time Min Jun understood Jin Hwan's nature to hang out.

Nevertheless, It's a good story plot with a happy ending. I'm very happy with this.

I'm shipping Captain and Sant starting in episode 5. I love the nerdy inept pastry baker in Captain. I'm glad that they didn't write him off as a good looking arrogant baker like in most of the competent chefs in cooking dramas.

The best is watching the subtle competition between two old friends, Captain and Jway, for the adorable Sant. They are so fun to watch. I don't want to think about the end result. For now, I'll just watch and enjoy how the writers play out the love triangle.
On Fight for You Apr 25, 2025
I love how Xiao Bai gets along well with Grandma. I hope Da Hei won't have a broken heart when he finds out Xiao Bai's motive for getting close to him. That would upset both Grandma and Jiali.

It's already half way thru the series. They better kiss as bf.

Title Exclusive Love Spoiler
A double wedding and a new ship in the finale with NC scenes is good for me to see this wrap up.

What I like:
1. Ian and Ju Huiyu ship setting sail after all both are friends of the groom. Aren't the single ones who caught the bouquets supposed to get together?
2. The main couple formal dresses while the second couple were casual, Chive and Potato colors, lol.
3. Romantic NC scenes, not ravaging grappling.
4. Eye candies.

Other than those pleasant points, I am disappointed with the script. This felt like a Thai bl-series production. Everything was too good to be true. Most events happened and pleasantly ended. For example the arranged marriage ended peacefully just like the Wedding Plan (2023) series from Thailand. The fiance was not into the groom but to her female friend. Female characters in the bl series cease to play vixens who come between the main couple. The writers are too cautious in their story telling. Their works seem to target only female bl fans who prefer unrealistic rainbow love. I know these are fictions, but they are what lowering the quality of these recent bl series production. The kidnap and knife stab scenarios were unnecessary and treated as a minor occurrence to the plot. Also, the deaths of two supporting characters seem insignificant to heavily affect the main characters as if they didn't happen. Yet the love story continued to a happy ending.

I miss those realistic stories that make me laugh, cry, get angry and so on. I like fluffy, but it doesn't have to be constant green flags. Love and betrayal, toxic relationships, violent or abusive sub plots create conflicts in stories making them engaging to viewers like me.

Enough of my rant. I hope that these talented actors who are brave and willingly play bl roles have a chance to shine with a good script in the future. I, a part of the LGBTQ + world community, like and will always support their works.

I'll watch a few more episodes to see how this plays out whether it's to my liking. Throughout this first episode I was hoping to see more of the second couple. Love their instant chemistry connection. 🀞Fingers crossing, I hope Kim and Mon are genuine with each other. πŸ™ Spare Kim from another heartbreak depression because, so far, Mon seems too good to be true. I had to look up Chokun because I had a vague sense of seeing him somewhere before this. Turns out he played one of my favorite beloved support characters in My Love Mix Up (Thai) as Half.

I have a hate feeling right now with the main couple. It's mostly because I'm turned off by Kit's attitude and his lack of seriousness in studying.

As for Shane, I initially thought he was different from others due to his parents' high expectations of him in academia. It turns out that his motivation was to study abroad, thus he needed the tutoring fee. I'm not sure what's going on at home for him. It was quite chaotic. But in the end for me, it was cute that he grew to like the adopted cat which mirrors his fondness for the black cat prize from the claw machine courtesy of Kit who secretly slipped into his pocket.
