I agree it's not easy to kill him BUT chose to forget is stupid even if she is in so much pain, as a princess of a country her duty she should at least remember how her family died, the soldiers died and her people so she wont be used again and buried that feelings she ever had for him to make her stronger. I feel chose to forget is a selfish part of her ~ shouldn't she at least give some account to those people that died which some sort because of her? other people are still in grief and memories of war death of their family meanwhile after she forget got married she still run outside the palace to carefree play without those painful memories, that seems unfair is it not? she feels guilty but should now know her biggest flawed as you said big heart and too trusting that caused her country ruined ~
also everyone else seem to have amnesia too? no one in her country wanted revenge or tell their princess what happened? that's so weird... -_-

on a random funny thought ~ she forgot everything about her family died so no funeral or yearly prayers vist to the grave? poor family / parents no one burning paper money for them, forgive me for overthinking the story haha

I will be so disappointed if I was her parents LOL raised her that long cant compare to the love with a dude met not long ago. Funny the ML seems to have the rights to get revenge for his mother and family but the FL revenge is just forget about it because she loves him too much LOL she wants him to remember and she forget him so thats her revenge? she is so sure that he would be in pain? when his heartless murder her family without blinking as if she doesnt think he faked feelings and used her to begin with for his purposes ~ if I was her i definitely wouldnt believe or think he has feelings for me in the first place

you read the full novel ~ can you spoil he had a son and daughter at the end from his concubines, which concubine was it? was it the one FL accepted on his behalf? couldn't fully understand the Chinese so I dont know who gave birth to the son and when did that happen

dont you feel the ML is like those villian rebirth story where the FL got used, family killed and then died first life and then rebirth kick ass revenge and meet the typical sweet ML and the ex husband last life becomes the supporting role?LOL I feel like this drama is for the current villian ML first life story hahah

I agree, she stupid and timid ~ I use to think ashes of love Jin Mi blinded by revenge was bad and stabbed Phoenix but compare to this FL I feel like at least Jin Mi has guts to do so, also I guess the unfeeling pill played a role. Not too sure how their romance play out after marriage since his acting loving his concubine which he is using exactly the same as her before later in the novel he kills the concubine and her family too, I dont know how they can fall in love again when she will be constantly be framed by his concubines and him being on the concubine side ~ I guess she loves the abusing -_-

I was thinking the exact same thing! everyone seems to just forget about it, is this a plot hole like untouchable lovers? I can never seems to understand the anemesia part yes for the main leads but for others? I mean the prince wakes up his not going to investigate what exactly happened before? for a person so scheming ~ doesnt he need to report back to his country what he did? or maybe I'm over thinking it! ha

I know right I feel disgusting ~ she on her death bed man, he cant even hold it seems contradicting what history wrote ~ who knows if it's even true the whole faithful and respect until then. I agree I hope the drama portray more faithful and love between the leads because that's the fantasy i want to see not real life history ~

Hongzhi Emperor from Ming Dynasty did better though - no concubines only 1 wife his whole life, respect - he should be goals ^ ^ and I think Emperor Fei of Western Wei as well no concubines. But your right he did his best and hold out until 50 years old, saw his portrait on google - I think at that stage as the queen I wouldn't care too much if anything I probably feel more sorry for the young concubines LOL

I really hope not -_- but from a lot of MV I can see her standing with other other women similar clothing I assume some of his concubines? anyone can confirm other actress's role? just want a nice clean romantic royal couple for once, I also try to start Story of Ming Lan but couldn't go further - the whole concubines thing bugs me like there is no tomorrow since the main plot is a lot about concubines, I was watching it while chanting *it ancient time - I tell you which drama killed me - Ruyi's Royal Love in the Palace, the emperor was just disgusting, I know it was normal back then but actually watching it is a different story - I had to drop it so quickly but ending up seeing some spoilers on youtube and it gross me out so much, I am just too weak can't even think it just acting haha

really? interesting never tried thai drama before - good thing I didn't, yeah I really hate it so much the most common use one is 'she saved me from drowning or some bs accident and from then on she has heart disease/weak body so she has to rely on the male lead support and the male lead can't brush her off or say no' - and then the male lead promise the father to protect and treat her right' typical melodrama on that part. I notice a lot Chinese drama the evil third party identity or how they are related to the male lead is always either -
1} childhood grew up together
2} ex lover
3} cousin or family related
4} benefactor
5} non blooded brother/sister relationship

I guess that is where the drama is though - otherwise it won't be dramatic haha

oh ok not bad then - nah I wasn't really holding that against him I was just more didn't want to see the type of drama where if the female lead fight with the ex gf, the male lead would try smooth things over rather than on the female lead side saying 'oh she the mother of my kids or she save my life once I owe her a favor or that she is my only cousin on my mother side blah blah typical excuse' that kind of 2 heart on the male lead which really annoys the heck out of me which is why I intend to avoid male lead with previous relationship with other women because those drama really makes my blood boils.
Did those concubines get driven away or something later? far talk about eye sore around the house -_-

can someone spoil a couple things for me please, I am still thinking if I should start this drama
- is GTY faithful to Ming Lan after their marriage and during her pregnancy?
- is there a lot of new concubines coming in after their marriage? and is the fighting between them and Ming Lan very bad? I really don't want high blood pressure while watching this drama

I originally shy away from this drama due to the concubines and GTY having wifes/kids before - but seeing so many good reviews and sweet moments thought I will give it a try again.

man I was going to watch this because I thought it was lighthearted romance plot (him having only 1 wife in the house) BUT now it seems like harem fighting with the new concubines every time - don't think I have the patience for that >< also the married before/mistress and already have children makes me a bit uncomfortable as well, guess because I just finished watching eternal love 2 pure love romance concept in my mind so now looking at this romance is too much for me to handle haha - good thing is at least his faithful to her after marriage.
