*Before you read the rest of this I assure you in no way am I faulting Dohoe for his response to years of abuse and the trauma that came from it. Iām critizing the writing of his character and his fault in communicating in a more meaningful and mature way.*
Iām sorry but I just canāt with this drama. With all the hype in the comments before I started watching, I thought this would be good. Currently on episode 7 and the main couple have broken up a total of three times. They refuse to communicate about their problems in a mature manner and refuse to speak about the past despite it being the centre of their issues. Dohoe is always quick to run away if their relationship encounters problems and Juyeong is forced to compromise for him instead of any form of healthy communication. They communicate through outbursts of emotion and one sided compromise. Iām not sure if they become endgame but I can assure you that their relationship will not last very long.
as the comments have said, stopping at episode 34 is a good choice. it still gets a high rating despite the ending because all the characters have amazing chemistry and a great plot to go along with it.
am i the only one that found the fl annoying or is it just me? like iām not saying i hated her but her romance with Do Jun is mediocre at best with how one dimensional her character is. yes Do Jun is somewhat one dimensional as well and that only makes it more insufferable to watch. the two actors also have no chemistry to the point where i have to fight the urge to skip the scenes of them together. i know Do Jun wants to settle down but gosh darn it, couldnāt he have found someone else? (no hate to the show i love it a lot)
Listen I'm a Dex girly as much as the next person but the fact that he stood next to Nadine for so long, probably making her build that hope inside just to move away from her was just completely unnecessary and cruel. I don't know if the producers asked him to do that to build suspence or do some kind of plot twist but if it was completely his own choice, it gives him a bad look.
am i the only one that cringed whenever they spoke? the final episodes of the season felt like a korean mlp but in human form with all the āpower of friendshipā stuff they had going on.
I mean if its daon, why not š¤·š»āāļø but srsly, they even caught a demon with a gf. demons here are not…
in other demons cases sure but i really donāt want bitna to stop her revenge because of āhuman moralsā which is far beneath her because she is quite literally the judge of who goes to hell. the fact that sheās already feeling some guilt for her actions this early just tells me itās going to mess with her revenge later on.
