Your wish has been granted - apparently this is now “Coming Soon” on Viki!
It's released! But you need to search for it as Viki isn't really publicizing it.

A Classic I would love to rewatch, since the death of Dramafever so many dramas unable to rewatch. Breaks my heart…
You can finally watch "Princess's Man" on Viki. I saw it first on DramaFever, waited and waited to find it with Eng subs, and decided to just buy the DVD set. Now that Viki has acquired this and "Uncontrollably Fond," maybe they'll pick up 2 more of my dying to watch again series- "Bridal Mask" and "City Hunter."

great drama.... except for the actress who play sang sang is so bad... not good looking not cute,.. annoying act,…
Agree it is a great drama. Disagree about Yiren Song. I can't think of many actresses who could pull off the role as well as Song. Do you have a suggestion of who better?

I not only liked this drama, I'm waiting for Season 3. EN2 deals with a changed Ning. He's no longer the swaggering…
From what I understand, EN3 should be released in 2022. And I would suspect there will be multiple battles, both for power in the realm of man, and for the soul of Sang Sang.

What?!?! Are you serious ? Why is the rating 7.6 don't tell me this drama is bad I already downloaded S2 and am…
I not only liked this drama, I'm waiting for Season 3. EN2 deals with a changed Ning. He's no longer the swaggering "it's all about me" young man. And that's understandable given what he's gone through- weakened by his fight, dealing with SangSang's illness, finding new purpose now that the revenge that has motivated him all his life has been achieved. Seems like most people were expecting Ning to the same cocky guy, not humbled at all by Sang Sang's sacrifice, and for Sang Sang to be the same, despite the struggle to fight the infusion of a divine adversary. EN2 requires more thoughtful watching.

Mother of Kim Gu, Korean independence activist. This is one of the things I loved about this series, and why I…
I would add The Last Princess, The Age of Shadows (aka Age of Darkness) and my favorite, Bridal Mask (though I'm having a hard time finding it again). You might also enjoy Bad Thief, Good Thief. It deals with the lives of the descendants of both the freedom fighters and the Japanese collaborators.

I didn't understand who was that girl "Nak woon" in last episode? they wrote something in Hangul and mentioned…
Mother of Kim Gu, Korean independence activist. This is one of the things I loved about this series, and why I hope there's a follow-up series to address this beginning of Korea's fight to become a nation that belongs to her citizens. There are several great series that came out in 2018-2019 as Korea celebrated the 100 year anniversary of the March 1st Movement, when Korea declared her independence. But I would love to see a series that picks up where this one left off.

I really liked the symbolism of the watch protecting Cheon Joong from the bullet. This is the very essence of…
I loved how the writers worked that in- such a simple thing that packed a punch. Really added to Heonseon's regret at being so anti-West he couldn't bring himself to actually work with Cheon Joong, rather than against him.

Grand in its vision and epic in its story telling. Although some of the characters faded out in the end, you can’t…
I would have liked to see a little more of that closure as well. However, I think the series ended where it should have. I do hope there are plans to do a follow-up series in this same vein that addresses the relationships and conflicts of Heonseon, Queen Min and Gogong, leading up to Min's murder. All of that drama while the Western and Japanese influences are increasing would be an amazing segeuk. And in my perfect world, that would be followed by a 3rd series set during the occupation, bringing back some of those who escaped to the Russia who become freedom fighters. For now, I'll be adding King Maker to my library.

Can someone explain the part where he held on to him after he got shot..? On the last episode.... I’m so confused…
As he said earlier, he thought they had the same goal so would take the same path to reach it. Heongseong had decided to let CJ try and fail at his vision, probably with the expectation that once CJ failed, he'd be back to help realize HS dream. And he may be full of regret for refusing to actually work CJ, rather than letting his hatred for all things Western get in the way.

I’m having so much fun subtitling for this drama ♥︎ Will definitely rewatch it when I complete the job.
Updated thank you for the fast subbing of Ep 20 and 21! But I'll admit- part of me wished you hadn't been so quick so I could enjoy a little longer. But now I can binge to my heart's contrent.

I would have liked this drama to keep going, but it actually ended where it was intended. Otherwise, we'd be looking at over a hundred episodes. My hope is another series, picking up where this one left off, is in the works. I know there have been other series- Mr. Sunshine, Different Dreams, even Chicago Typewriter- but very few deal with the relationship between King Gojong and Queen Kim, and the fight between her and Gojong's father.

Please tell me this is not another drama where it’s just evil as$hats dominate for 19eps and treat folks like…
If you look at the actual history of Joseon, it IS "evil as$hats" taking the country down the road to destruction with the doubling-down on social classes, refusal to accept any new ideas, and the elites looking out only for themselves. However, nothing like the USA. Americans have chosen to be treated "like rugs" in exchange for easy living.

This is the 3rd time I couldn't wait and had to start watching a drama as it was airing. Some day I'll learn because it's so hard waiting for the next episode.

I'm loving Kingmaker as well. I like to socio-political dynamics, and so glad it isn't just a love story with Joseon as a backdrop. It's interesting to me as an American to note that while this story is dealing with their cultural and new king upheavals, we were just ending our Civil War and facing the challenges of uniting our country.

I'm liking this drama so far! I think it's the most distinctive historical drama I've seen these past years. But…
I agree to a certain extent. I see her "love" for her father as an extension of her love for her mother- "this is the man my mother kept in her heart" kind of thing. And when he was eavesdropping on her, I saw it more as a smirk of "who you trying to fool with your caring act." I'm reminded a lot of "The Princess's Man" where he also fiercely hated the woman who betrayed him, but still had her in his heart.

People don't know, but back in 2013 the victim's statements were suspicious. Shihoo was at the peak of his fame…
Fortunately, his love of acting wasn't halted by this scandal. I love him in the Chinese movie, "Scent." As far as I'm concerned, this man still has it. If Koreans don't want him, he can come flash that billion-dollar smile in America any time.
