I know! Just like their slow burn romance. 🤣 We've got one more month to watch their story unfold. That's why in between I've been going back to the novel and watching the old episodes. Each episode has been worth the wait. In their live stream Wu Lei said the audience will be happy with the ending so I feel this drama will not disappoint us.

Nope she is a hidden danger. Even kills her husband and ambush CSS towards the end of the novel.

i’m so confused when people talk about 5 years separate??? can someone explain 😭
LBY massacred the Ling family to seek revenge for his dad General Huo and family. After that CSS breaks of the engagement because she is heartbroken he choose revenge over her & their love. She tells him, you forced me to love you, i loved you, you forced me to depend on you, i depended on you but you left me. It's quick emotional during that scene. Afterwards gets exiled to the boarder for 5 years.

The Crown Prince is not bad. He is just too soft hearted like the Empress which is not good when you need to rule the nation. It'll be part of his down fall later along with Empress They'll both lose their positions after LBY massacres the Ling family. Not everything is what it seems on the surface.

Yea she sets up the fifth princess later even though she committed the crime. CSS always thought she was her friend. It's not until LBY comes back after the 5 years does CSS realize LYT is bad. LYT stayed with LBY and thought he was going to marry her.

Yea it's going be a battlefield in the palace but CSS & LBY will have plenty of sweet moments until LBY gets his revenge. At that point he achieved his goal but lost her.
